He had the most immediate opening which aligned with my timeline. Unfortunately he did have to inform me that I may need to look at hardware removal in the future, but I love a doctor who is transparent. His medical assistant Caley was also amazing. She checked my incisions and removed my stitches. While it was uncomfortable, it was still a great experience. They both have great bedside manners. Dr. Resig's timeline is different than the surgeon who did my surgery, as he will have me bear weight on my ankle sooner, but as daunting as it sounds, if I can get back on my feet sooner, I'll take it. My original timeline was non-weight bearing for the first 6 weeks, and this moves it up two weeks! I originally was going to go with a different doctor and office but their scheduler told me that they would want to see my X-rays, unfortunately I wouldn't be able to get it in time for that appointment so I looked elsewhere and I'm glad I did because I was stressing out about it. TL;DR I highly recommend OCC and Dr. Resig for your foot and ankle woes. The whole team there is awesome and so friendly.

Major shoutout to Erin L At UCHealth Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Clinic - Lone Tree. She's awesome! Unfortunately I've had nothing but bad experiences with the Inverness location. My assigned Physical Therapist, Cynthia Jacobson was unresponsive; taking anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to answer emails. She did not update my records (leading to weeks of wasted time, effort and back and forth). And ultimately lied about her conversations with myself, my surgeon and my insurance advocate. My much needed surgery is not able to be scheduled at this point. Leaving me seek therapy elsewhere. All of this could've been handled 6 weeks ago had she done her job! If you have the misfortune of working with this facility please keep this in mind, oh and don't bother going to their supervisors (they don't care either). Document everything.

Dr. Alijani totally fits that title. The boy broke his collar bone and after weeks of not healing his doctor finally sent him to Dr. A. We were pretty nervous. He needed to get back to work ASAP and we had a bad feeling that going to a specialist was a good sign that he needed to be operated on and that means more healing time. Boo! Dr. Alijani was quick to take his own X-rays and knew right away that a plate was needed. By the time he left his first appointment we had a surgery date set at Skyridge. The day of surgery everything went great. They were running a little behind but got him in and out faster than I expected. Dr. Alijani was there in the waiting room to tell me how everything went and to answer any questions. And boy am I a questions kind of person. I never felt like he was annoyed by any of my questions and his answered were always helpful. Follow up was just as easy. They took more x-rays and made sure it was really healing and that he was ready to go back to work. It has been over 6 months now and he feels VERY little pain and very rarely. While he seems fairly proud of the scar and not at all interested in putting anything on it to make it seem less visible it has still healed well and looks good all things considered. We would both highly recommend Dr. Alijani to anyone needing specific care like this.

My previous orthopedic surgeon, postoperatively, said that there was nothing surgically, that could be done, I proceeded to spend lots of money and several months seeing a sports doctor and a physical therapist. At wits end,I insisted on a new MRI on my knee and was told by the sports doctor that she did not believe that it warranted surgery. Dr. Gersoff looked at the MRI and did other diagnoses that led him to believe that I had a small tear in my meniscus that was causing my pain. In addition, he patiently went over my entire MRI with me and explained exactly what it showed, remarkable! After my operation, I could walk long distances without pain. Besides being a great surgeon he Has great interpersonal skills and is a great communicator.

All he could say was the problem would resolve itself over time and, if I wanted, I could take Advil a few times a day. The fact that the problem hadn't "resolved itself" until then, despite my already taking anti-inflammatories was of no interest to him. When I read a copy of the follow-up report, it posted symptoms that I had never reported. Altogether, a most unsatisfactory visit. I will never go back to him and would not recommend him to others.

He wrote he spent 55 minutes with me when he spent 5-10 minutes with me complaining about other DR's care and other patients. My recommendation is to go to another DR, record your visit or bring someone with you and review your medical record afterwards, as he will document from others notes and make things up. He has a long history of being scored 1 and most people do not review their medical records and may be unaware of his notes which may be totally inaccurate and impact your care. Please follow up with both medicare, the hospital and the medical board because he will harm people if he already has not based on his fabrications which Im sure started when he was a med student. I can not stress enough that lying on a medical reocrd is not only bad for you but a very bad practice.
