My first contact with him was to order a supplement. As is my custom, I ask questions about what is contained in the product; TELL ME what are the ingredients? And he told me the ingredients. So, I placed my order and upon receipt noticed there are FOUR (4) additional ingredients listed. The second ingredient is lactose, which I cannot tolerate nor do I want. Why was this not disclosed in my initial telephone call? I immediately contacted Clinical Nutrition Centers, the seller, to arrange for a return. The "doctor," Tom Lawrence, was full of hostility and an antagonistic attitude: "You should have told us you can't have lactose." Well, "doctor," I did ask you to read the ingredients - which you claim you did - and if you had read the word "lactose" I would have declined to order. But you did not do that. You misled me into ordering your product and now when I call you are SO busy with patients that you don't have time for me. I see what you are trying to do. You are determined to cheat me, all for less than $50. Very sad that you place so little value on your reputation and your license. But I guess that is to be expected from someone with your past. Once there, it felt that no one had read my intake form which I spent a long time filling out thoughtfully. I was given random printouts as resources, told to buy an extravagant amount of supplements (through them-fishy in retrospect), and left feeling pretty low and judged. I decided to give the supplements and plan a go, even though I was never given a complete personalized plan. I even reached out for clarification and got a short response with no additional support, ultimately I was never followed up with.
