New Dentist, Dr Williams is gone, the new dentist is a joke, tried telling us that the root canal done over 10 years ago was not a root canal and still had organic matter in the roots, like it would not rot in over 10 years. Imagine you were so AFRAID of dentists, you didn't see one for 14 years... and had multiple cracked molars and were in need of some serious work. That was me, and this is the story about how Dr. Williams literally saved my mouth, and probably my life. First, my fear was both rational and irrational. From pieces of my jaw bone coming off with extractions, to drill bits getting stuck in my jawbone, to failed root canals, recommendation for apicoectomy (drill into cheekbone to get roots), to short fills (root canal wasn't deep enough), and mostly NEVER GETTING FULLY NUMB, I've had my fair share of bad luck with dentists. To be fair, I've had a few good ones, but their goodness didn't outweigh my fears and spent 14 years as far away from them as possible. Add to this, I'm struggling with symptoms of RA, and have been diagnosed with chronic idiopathic hives. Somethings going on with my immune system and I get hives all day long that are not responsive to OTC meds and I've been on steroids for months. I suspected my infected cracked teeth may be causing or worsening my symptoms. I knew it was time to bite the bullet. Enter FFD. I let them know (probably everyone, lol) that I was a nervous wreck. I didn't even want them digging the tools into my teeth to "check" for cavities as that can hurt IMO. You know what... they didn't. That's a first! They did all the xrays and it wasn't as bad as I thought. I needed 3 root canals. They make the crowns there and have you out with your permanent all porcelain crown in hours. Once D day came, they were quick to give me the nitrous (sweeeet). Dr Williams explained she's from a long generation of dentists and she's really good about nerve mapping and numbing. Man, was she! I did have some limited breakthrough pain, which in her own words would "get my attention", and that's about all it was. I described where the pain came from and radiated to, and she found the nerve and numbed it within seconds. No one has ever done that! She also noted my chart about how my nerves run. Then next visit I had no breakthrough pain. I literally grabbed her hand and with tears told her she saved my mouth. Not to mention I have multiple crooked roots and have been referred to an endo twice on other similar teeth, due to complexity. For her, it was a breeze. This saved me a fortune! 3 months later and I'm off all steroids, and am managing my hives with OTC Allegra. Overall, the office manager and staff were so gracious and accommodating - with reasonable prices and options for full sedation (one day I'll make a you tube video), you cant go wrong! I may never be able to say I enjoy going to the dentist, but with Dr. Williams, it's as close as I'll get! read more

First let me say I hate pain!!! I mean I absolutely cannot take pain. Well on 8/11/2020 I had to go to the dentist. My wisdom tooth was very infected and had spread to the tooth next to it. I live in Ferris Texas.... so I went to Ferris Family Dentistry. I was very very nervous the day of the extractions. I went in and I was given a double dose of anti anxiety meds and then I was given nitrous (laughing gas). Then doctor Kim came in and proceeded to numb my mouth. Well after about 2 hours both teeth were extracted !!! Thanks goes out to Dr Kim and the entire staff!!! You made me feel very comfortable. I was almost put to sleep. The only thing I felt was pressure!!! Well Ferris Family Dentistry is my choice!!! The only thing I would advise is to over headphones so as to not hear drilling while listening to music... otherwise bravo!!! read more

Let me tell ya! I have never had strong teeth so even with taking care of my teeth and going in for cleanings 2 to 3 times a year. I still have to have fillings and work done on my mouth. With that being said I have been to so many different dentists. Dr. Williams has been the best I have ever been to! She is funny and kind of dorky (the good kind) and that made myself and my husband feel so at ease with her and her practice. Her staff is amazing as well! They all are so nice and super helpful! Very relaxed atmosphere for a dental office. Had a tooth extracted. Was easiest ever.

Well I must say .. This will be my first time with this dentist. So far the dentist office in Ferris isn't impressing me at all.The whole problem started this morning. I had a appointment at 8 am. Well I received a call saying i needed to be rescheduled for this afternoon. Ok so now I'm pushed back until 1pm. Well at 11:35am I received yet another call saying I needed to be rescheduled again. So now I have yet another appointment for 1/10/ 2019 at 8am. But I don't have confidence that this appointment will happen. I have never been treated so badly!!! To be rescheduled 2 times in one day... oh heck I was rescheduled 2 times in less than 6 hours!! Tune in let's see if I will ever get the chance to see the dentist.... read more

Dr. Williams and her staff were especially warm and welcoming. Her initial consultation was the most comprehensive I have ever had. She explained each tooth and its history and future needs as well as info regarding some anomalies with my nerves and bones. This information will certainly help me if I seek treatment from other doctors. Because she took the time to involve me at this level, I am much more likely to be proactive about my dental health. I stopped in for teeth whitening solution a few days ago and Dr. Williams happened to be by the receptionist's desk. I asked her about an irritant that was left from a recent root canal. She had one of her assistants look at it right then and it was determined that a polish would take down the high spot that was bothering me. I don't now another dentist's office that would do that. They took the time to see me when they didn't have to because they always put their patient's comfort and welfare as their top priority and I love that about them. read more

Got 2 root canals and a wisdom tooth pulled here and after this would not recommend this to anyone. They left metal wires from the root canal plugs in my mouth along with piece of my damaged teeth, which I didn't know was in there till that evening cause I had the shots to numb my face. Also my prescription pain medication which was Tylenol 3 and only 3 days worth, and the pain lasted 6 days and the antibiotic lasted a week. I tried calling the office to talk with the dentist after the 3 days when the pain was still very strong to see if this was a kind of nerve pain that I was experiencing was normal for the procedure, but instead of talking to the dentist just got to talk with the receptionist or office manager that would explain to me that I would need to go to a root canal specialist, and that it was my fault for moving to much. So they was unwilling to answer my questions, so i called a different dentist in the area and they got on the phone and explained to me that if they had cut my gums that this kind of nerve pain was normal, so I felt that a different dentist cared more for me then this place even without my payment of around 3300.00. read more
