New Dentist, Dr Williams is gone, the new dentist is a joke, tried telling us that the root canal…read moredone over 10 years ago was not a root canal and still had organic matter in the roots, like it would not rot in over 10 years. No trust for this dentist. never will go back. they so cheap dont even have tissues in the office.

Imagine you were so AFRAID of dentists, you didn't see one for 14 years... and had multiple…read morecracked molars and were in need of some serious work. That was me, and this is the story about how Dr. Williams literally saved my mouth, and probably my life. First, my fear was both rational and irrational. From pieces of my jaw bone coming off with extractions, to drill bits getting stuck in my jawbone, to failed root canals, recommendation for apicoectomy (drill into cheekbone to get roots), to short fills (root canal wasn't deep enough), and mostly NEVER GETTING FULLY NUMB, I've had my fair share of bad luck with dentists. To be fair, I've had a few good ones, but their goodness didn't outweigh my fears and spent 14 years as far away from them as possible. Add to this, I'm struggling with symptoms of RA, and have been diagnosed with chronic idiopathic hives. Somethings going on with my immune system and I get hives all day long that are not responsive to OTC meds and I've been on steroids for months. I suspected my infected cracked teeth may be causing or worsening my symptoms. I knew it was time to bite the bullet. Enter FFD. I let them know (probably everyone, lol) that I was a nervous wreck. I didn't even want them digging the tools into my teeth to "check" for cavities as that can hurt IMO. You know what... they didn't. That's a first! They did all the xrays and it wasn't as bad as I thought. I needed 3 root canals. They make the crowns there and have you out with your permanent all porcelain crown in hours. Once D day came, they were quick to give me the nitrous (sweeeet). Dr Williams explained she's from a long generation of dentists and she's really good about nerve mapping and numbing. Man, was she! I did have some limited breakthrough pain, which in her own words would "get my attention", and that's about all it was. I described where the pain came from and radiated to, and she found the nerve and numbed it within seconds. No one has ever done that! She also noted my chart about how my nerves run. Then next visit I had no breakthrough pain. I literally grabbed her hand and with tears told her she saved my mouth. Not to mention I have multiple crooked roots and have been referred to an endo twice on other similar teeth, due to complexity. For her, it was a breeze. This saved me a fortune! 3 months later and I'm off all steroids, and am managing my hives with OTC Allegra. Overall, the office manager and staff were so gracious and accommodating - with reasonable prices and options for full sedation (one day I'll make a you tube video), you cant go wrong! I may never be able to say I enjoy going to the dentist, but with Dr. Williams, it's as close as I'll get!

Today was my third visit. I didn't post after my first because I was pretty much out of it!…read more I knew that I was due for a deep cleaning , long over due my last one was In 2018. My gum pockets were so deep that it was scary. I came in for my X-ray and oral exam. The first was 9/7/22 at my primary dentist and she recommended and sent me here to Tooth HQ. I got in touch with them and made appointment with Jazmine who was nice 9/9/22 Was the day of my exam and diagnosis!! Location: I was sketchy at first because the shopping center is not all that appealing! But plenty of parking and the door was blank as if the office was abandoned. Lol Ambience: Walking in blue! Blue comfortable chairs and the medication smell and mints was what I remembered most but it was clean! Greeting: I was greeted immediately by Jazmine! Knowledgeable: The doctor was very knowledgeable of what was going on with my teeth and gums I had a Treatment plan A that included 4 extraction, medication, healing gel , antibiotic mouthwash,Free I've sedation , deep cleaning, periodontal cleaning , bone graft and follow ups to check on my gums progress. The pain wasn't as bad as I thought but the medication helped I only needed the cotton the first day after that I was able to sleep with out anything in my mouth and slurp soup! Thank God for honest help! I was comfortable, The assistant even gave me a blanket when I was cold, I talked myself to sleep lol I'm very curious especially when I go to doctors or dentist so I ask questions! Mmkay My gums are healing and I'm becoming more confident in my smile because it's healthy! Thank you All!

I received osseous surgery and an extraction in April. The surgery went very well, but they grossly…read moreunderestimated my insurance coverage, and thus I have overpaid out of pocket by $1400+. They also billed my insurance for 2 line items that were NOT included on my treatment plan and I have no idea if they're a legitimate charge. I have tried to reconcile this a couple of times and was told their billing department is hard to get a hold of and was not provided a number. Upon follow up, I was informed that Amar in billing would be calling me shortly. Three days and I never got a call. In addition to the overpayment, they charged $299 for a post surgery 3-month perio maintenance on my treatment plan AND billed my insurance for it. Why in world would you charge me (and bill insurance!) for a service you haven't yet provided? That should have been my first red flag because I also paid that $299 at the actual appt in July. I believe that's what's referred to as "double-dipping" on their part. I have at least 3 more procedures (sinus lift/bone graft/2 implant placements) to get things as I'd like. When I met with them last week for the sinus lift treatment plan, they calculated my insurance at $0. Zero. Nothing, when I know they will at minimum cover most of the IV sedation, even if none the surgery itself (nor did they include any credit for overpayment from April). This puts me paying out of pocket for 100% of it, thus effectively being over-billed again once my insurance covers their part. Add in a billing department that refuses to engage with patients. I fully believe this business is dishonest in their billing practices. Dr. V is a great surgeon. He really is. But I don't trust them with my money, so I am no longer trusting them with my mouth. I am already seeking a new periodontist. I encourage anyone whom has/is doing business with ToothHQ to please check your insurance EOB against their treatment plan for any discrepancies. I sincerely believe this periodontal clinic is deliberately engaging in unethical financial practices.

Well, because my dentist doesn't believe in pain. Woohoo!! Dr. Wald is Awesome (that's right, with a capital A). She's funny as hell, genuinely caring, and very, very good at her job. I am in pretty great shape since she put sealants on my molars several years ago, but I constantly recommend her to people who have had bad experiences or anxiety about needing dental work because she is really good about that sort of thing. One of my more nervous friends went for a crown replacement recently, and doesn't remember a thing after being told to "count to ten." Enough said. Great office, great staff. Everyone is really nice. They're about a half hour south of Dallas, and well worth the drive down if you ask me. I love her!!

Right after that she tells me how I have great insurance and that they cover a lot of my work that I need to have done. So right then and there I knew what type of dental office this was. I never mentioned to her that I was a former dental assistant, and that as I'm looking at my x-rays I don't see all these cavities that she's telling me I have. They didn't even clean my teeth because she wanted me to come back for the "deep cleaning". I was so disappointed that this type of clinic is even open in my town. I was able to finally get into another dental office where I was told I have no cavities, no gingivitis just a little inflammation around my gums. And they actually did the routine cleaning that I went in there for. Be careful if you go here and get a second opinion if they start saying you need a lot of work done. Especially if you have "great" insurance..
