Many people travelling into Edinburgh from Fife find the city too busy and are sometimes not comfortable to drive in! Well, help is on hand! Situated just outside Inverkeithing and just off the A90 is Ferrytoll park and ride.
This park and ride service allows users to park their cars in a secure car park and get a bus through to Edinburgh. The bus service is mainly run by Stagecoach, and the services in the morning and evening are very busy! However, the prices are not bad at all, and are cheaper than going via train!
I have only used it a couple of times and I found the service quite fast and only took around twenty minutes to get into the centre of Edinburgh. From Edinburgh you can get buses back from the bus station or George Street.
A great service by all accounts and a great way to get cars of the road in Edinburgh! read more
