The train station in North Queensferry is the last station in Fife before you travel over the Forth Rail Bridge. This small station is located at the higher end of North Queensferry and proudly stands over the rest of this coastal town.
And it is its position which make the station standout on the rail route towards Edinburgh. With great views of the city of Edinburgh and its surrounding areas, tourists flock here with their cameras. Furthermore, this station is used, along with Dalmeny as a hop off and on station for crossing the Forth Rail Bridge.
The station is small and is set in the Victorian mould with the main building and bridge. One of the walls at the station has been decorated by local school children with an image of the iconic bridge and the Firth of Forth.
