I went on a date last night at AC Sky Bar and was honestly really excited since it had been a while…read moresince my last visit. Let me start with parking I parked in the hotel garage and was surprised by the $25 flat fee . I don't remember it being that high before, but I didn't have much of a choice. On top of that, the kiosk for entering and exiting the garage was giving everyone trouble. It wouldn't read my card, and after what felt like 50 swipes and trying a second card (per the attendant's suggestion), it finally worked. Thankfully, I was able to park close to the elevators after all that. Once I got to the 18th floor, the experience definitely improved. I was greeted right away by the hostess, but my date had already texted me where he was seated. We had early reservations, so it wasn't crowded at all. The ambiance is still beautiful very "grown and sexy" although the weather was cloudy, so the view wasn't as stunning as it could've been. My date was a gentleman and pulled out my chair (love that!), and shortly after, our waitress Valerie came over to greet us. She was amazing the entire night. We already knew what we wanted, so we ordered pretty quickly. We both got the Sunset Margaritas, which were really good. For food, I had the AC Burger and my date had the steak sandwich, both cooked medium well everything came out great and tasted just as good. We ended up taking a couple tequila shots and ordered another round of drinks. Valerie stayed attentive the whole time, checking in on us and patiently answering all of my date's many questions without missing a beat. Overall, the vibe here is definitely more adult and upscale not really a kid-friendly environment in terms of atmosphere, but since it's in a hotel, families are still welcome. It's a great spot for date nights, group outings, or even hosting events. Despite the parking hassle, we had a great time and will definitely be back especially to try their brunch!

During our visit, Tony openly laughed out loud in my face--not once, but twice--when I asked simple, polite questions about the menu. He then proceeded to repeatedly rush and pressure our group to order. As Asian guests, being openly mocked and rushed made us feel deeply uncomfortable, unwelcomed, and targeted When I brought this serious matter to management, their response was to defend the server, brush off his behavior as a "misunderstanding," and blame us for not reaching out sooner. Being told that a server who laughed in a customer's face is "consistently recognized as one of their strongest" speaks volumes about this establishment's standards. A long track record does not give a server the right to treat paying guests with condescension and disrespect. Dismissing a guest's genuine complaint of discrimination and disrespect as a "misunderstanding" is completely unacceptable. High-end views mean nothing when the staff lacks basic respect and management refuses to take accountability. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects its patrons. To add insult to injury, despite the appalling and disrespectful service, an automatic 18% service charge was added per person to our bill. Charging guests a mandatory 18% for a server who openly ridicules them is absolute robbery.
