My Mother had no heat on the weekend so she called and had a tech come out on an emergency rate…read more The tech was great and replace a motor and was able to get the heater to come but the heater failed after he left. The tech came back and replaced a sensor and still charged a weekend rate so after 2 visits and 2 replaced parts the unit still failed. The Manager cam out on Monday and replaced a 3rd part but was nice to not charge his rate because his guys Miss diagnosed the original problem and it turned out to be the thermostat. After all said and done she paid just under $1000 for three trips and three different parts when only one was needed and then she was offered an estimate to replace the entire unit and she would be giving a $300 concession off of the bill she just paid if she purchases a new unit in 30 days All Bad!!!

Technician advised me he could not get it out as well. He was honest and told me the part needed ($600) was not worth replacing due to the age (15 yrs) of the water heater. I called several great Air Conditioning Businesses near me, and neither one would do Warranty work. When I called Keith, he was as nice as could be. He agreed to send someone out. The Serviceman, Josh, arrived, 15 min early on my appointment day. He was so professional, and friendly, from the time he arrived, until the time he left. He was optimistic that he could fix my problem...and answered a lot of other questions I had about my system. He couldn't have been nicer! He was confident that he knew what the problem was. We had problems with the Warranty Company....getting authorization to cover the work that needed to be done and Josh, with the approval of Keith, stayed until we got the job done. I am so grateful to both of these men, for their kindness, professional work and determination to help me! I highly recommend them, and I will use them for any work I need done!

We needed to schedule 3 visits to have a drain in our basement fixed. There was a small leak at…read morethe wall. The first person that came out was great, he had actually inspected the home before we bought it and was aware of the issue. The second person who was scheduled was over an hour late to the end time of his service window. There was no call to inform that the technician was going to be late. When he arrived he let us know he wat stuck at a well-job. I lead him down to the basement and when I turned around I saw he was standing in the entry to the bathroom, brand new carpet, boots still on. The white carpet was immediately stained. I asked him if the job would be over 30 minutes, because we only had a limited window before childcare pickup. He said he would not be able to complete in 30 minutes and I said we would have to reschedule. The second service request, the technician simply glued the fitting, the first tech said they would need to bore the pipe out because the wrong one was used. If the fix was to simple apply copious amounts of glue and silicone, I could have done that myself. When I called I talk about this $192.50 invoice for stained carpet and gobs of glue, a wasted trip for us, I was informed that his 1 hour and 45 minute trip duration includes his travel time from his last job. We were never informed that we would need to pay for his travel time from he previous job, if this was something made known, we would never have signed up for a visit from this company. I have absolutely no control over how far away his pervious job was. To top it all, I never had a chance to sign a completed work order before he left. If you want late technicians with no communication, disregard for your home, and a shady billing practice, then Faribo Plumbing is for you!
