This hotel oozes cool, not in a "trying to be cool" way, but in an authentic, grounded and personable way. The staff are lovely. The aesthetic is so tasteful and creative. The courtyard is a fun place to hang out. Sometimes there's live music. It's simply just a wonderful place to spend time, and rest while in Berlin. We had a minor misunderstanding upon departure, but the hotel settled was understanding and dealt it with gracefully. Very appreciate there are good humans and good businesses in this ever-changing world. We will definitely be back and I can't recommend this more highly to anyone considering a stay here. We booked the…read moreLuxus but were unexpectedly upgraded to the Hideout which was amazing - custom built furniture and a private sauna and hot tub and bluetooth speakers/a projector screen. I don't think we've ever stayed somewhere so nice. Breakfast is amazing - so many hot and cold options that all are carefully chosen and prepared. Two things to note: this hotel has a bar/event venue in the courtyard so if you're looking for somewhere completely quiet to stay - this isn't it - stay here if you enjoy being around people and music. Also there isn't AC and as such the room got hot for my American blood. I do think they have fans available, though.
