If your visiting Kelowna and drive through the main highway and want to get away from the franchises, this place is excellent. I had a tasteful chicken and vegetable soup and chicken salad sandwich, great Portions of salad. Kids had Mac and cheese and lasagne with salad. We all really enjoyed this place and for four of us less than 50 dollars. If you want a tasty lunch with a healthy twist, this is the place and the coffee to wash it down was smooth. Service spot in as well.. clearly a winner and although we are on vacation for a week, we agreed we wanted to come back again before leaving. read more

Came today for the first time by recommendation of my friend, I had a $9ish modified summer salad and my friend had the $7.50 "light lunch" which is half a sandwich of your choice and salad. It was busy when we were in. We got what we paid for. This isn't the type of place I would normally choose to eat at and there weren't any vegan options on the menu so I got a summer salad without chicken or cheese. The salad was pretty small and was a typical one with lots of shredded iceberg lettuce and came with two little slices of bread on the side. The bread had a bit of sweetness and raisins in it. I personally prefer salads with at least mostly mixed greens or more spinach but iceberg gives a better profit margin. I saw this place had good reviews but nothing that I saw and what I ate - none of it really wowed me. It seemed like food that someone could easily make themselves at home. Overall it is a very cute little place with a very homey feel and the dinnerware they use is very colourful and cute. Fezziwig's is a hidden gem in Kelowna. Located in a strip mall area, it's not really noticeable. I probably wouldn't have noticed it if my stomach wasn't growling when I stepped out of TD Bank right beside the bakery. They specialize in fresh baked goods and lunch specials, like soups and sandwiches. Their cakes and treats just looked so good in the display case though, I had to try it! I think I had the apple turnover that day, and my mom had some sort of cake with whipped cream. I ended up eating most of hers along with mine, they were so good! Fezziwig's has tables inside, so you can just relax and enjoy your lunch or dessert, and take your time. It's colorfully decorated with kischy teapots on shelves here and there, giving the cafe a cozy atmosphere. Definitely going to be a regular place for me when I come back to visit. read more

As a former employee, I got all the deets lol. Yes, there is some bad blood between a manager and I, but that doesn't excuse the fact that the food is top notch. The owners are a husband and wife team, with their daughter running a secondary location at Guisachan Village and another location at the local college. The owners are so sweet and really care about what goes into their food. The bread is to die for. Freshly baked EVERY morning. You have two options of either white or whole wheat bread (rye as well if you order a pastrami). Both are equally as great. They make a fresh batch of soup everyday Vegetable Mondays, Minestrone Tuesdays, Split Pea and Ham Wednesdays, Beef Barley Thursdays and Chicken Noodle Fridays. The soup is lovely. Their sandwich mixes are made fresh daily as well. My personal favourites were the coronation chicken mix, the chipotle mix, the chicken almond mix and the pastrami on rye. They create their own pastrami, roast beef and chicken fresh and buy their seafood/vegetables locally (literally, right across the street at the Guisachan location!) They have DELICIOUS home made mac and cheese, homemade Shephard's Pie and homemade lasagna. They have home made beef pies, quiches and sausage rolls. All original recipes made my "Mrs. Fezziwig". For the light lunchers, they have fresh and delicious salads as well! And they are huge! They have many options when it comes to "lunching" it. Soup and salad combos, casserole combos etc etc. They also have a coffee bar with lattes and such. And of course, the bakery selection. All fresh. All homemade. All original. Delicious. Personally, I am not that big of a sweets eater, but you can't go wrong with the Fezziwig lemon tarts! They are a little pricey but to me, it's worth it. My friend started working there and was very excited and while she was with her trainer and it was lunch time and this customer came in and order an item my friend sis not understand how her trainer was entering it down instead of her trainer explaining it to my friend while she doing it she waited until she finished doing it. Then turned to my friend in a snarky way this is how you do it Do not interrupt me again while I am talking to customers. If you are a trainer you are to be expected to be showing the new people step by step instructions while you are doing them not after. Then about 5 mins later my friend gets pulled into the back and gets told that it was not going to work out and that she was not going to e a good fit. If this how you you treat your new staff I wonder how you treat your customers. This is so unacceptable I own my own business and have been for the last 15 years and this not how we treat or train new people. read more

My wife & I were visiting from Vancouver and consider ourselves somewhat coffee connoisseurs. That said, we tried several recommended places, but Fezzwig's was by far the BEST of the bunch. Definitely agree that this is a hidden gem. read more

Although the food is good at Fezziwigs, the managers need to learn how to address and treat their staff. Good staff is hard to find, and once you have a loyal employee, it is very important to listen to all employees. Being unable to do this can only result in eventual business suicide. read more

Fezziwigs is a tight little bakery cluttered with tables where it is hardly possible to walk in between them without asking several people to move. The combos are not too badly priced, but certainly cater specifically to the seniors in the area as usually there is no clients under 50 in the bakery. I have gone back several times with a senior because they enjoy it, but generally the soups have little to no taste, the sandwiches are not too bad though. The real unfortunate thing is the baked goods, where many of the items are dried out and generally not that pleasant at all, which is surprising considering it is a bakery. The food is uninspiring and caters to a loyal clientele which use it more as a meeting spot for their age bracket than anything else. read more

This is my favourite bakery in Kelowna or maybe any where. We custom order the whole wheat cinnamon raisin bread and it is ready for us the next day. The spelt cookies are delicious as is their cappuccino. The service is efficient and friendly. All of their desserts look incredible and they do a very brisk lunch time business. read more

Just bought their Christmas Cake. It cost $29.99 for a cake and I thought given the price and their reputation this cake would be heavenly. I was wrong. It was so dry and very very crumbly - it could not even be cut. There was more icing on the cake then actual cake. It had a hard thin layer of marzipan coating and a very thick layer of sugar icing on top of that which was pretty revolting. Never again from this bakery at least for cakes! read more
