They tick all the boxes- superb food, comfortable ambience, dog friendly and (most importantly) stellar coffee. Wanted to grab a bag of beans and ended up sitting down to enjoy a fresh brewed coffee, cookie and sandwich. The ambience is inviting and the free wifi attracts a number of individuals working remotely. The space sprawls across multiple rooms plus an outdoor patio, all of which are decorated with greenery to compliment the simple and clean decor. I ordered the beet sandwich, a cup of their Abel Ortiz drip coffee, an espresso cookie and a bag of beans (also Abel Ortiz). The sandwich arrived warmed on wicked soft bread. The espresso cookie and coffee were the highlight for me. Their cookies are incredible - soft, flavorful and obviously made daily. The pairing with the coffee was absolutely divine! I love that this space is dog friendly, and they have a wall dedicated to their furry patrons along the side of the coffee bar. Would highly recommend visiting and bringing your furry friends (or making new ones)! read more

Such a cute spot for coffee! You order and can find a spot to sit indoors or in their beautiful space outside. Plenty of seating and parking too. Lots of dogs in the summer too. I got the coffee flight and really enjoyed all three cups. I shared a donut with my friend and it was tasty. Went to Knox mountain after and liked how close it was. read more

It's nice to see some good speciality coffee shops in Kelowna. They have good coffee and their prices are average $4.5 - $6 depending on what you get. Their pasteries are about $4.5 - $5.5. Their food options were pricer are about ~$10-14 ie. Just Breakfast sandwich was $12 . There was a lot of seating in the back and there is 'The Bright Lab' that was additional work space. Even though it's in an industrial area, it is a popular place - even on weekdays there are line ups. I am a coffee fanatic with a high end espresso machine, commercial grinder and equipment that I use to roast my own beans but I occasionally like to sample offerings from local coffee shops and roasters. To say I was disappointed is an understatement and I think I am being generous to rate this place at 2 stars. The first thing that caught my eye to the left of the entrance way was a large display of various bags of roasted coffee beans. When I checked the roast date of the espresso blend I found it to be nearly 2 weeks old. I must have checked the date of over a half a dozen bags in case there was some mistake and they were all the same. $25 dollars a pound for two week old over-hyped coffee beans? You must be freakin# kidding me!! You would think that at a place where coffee is roasted on the premises that the owners would take some pride in their product and institute some quality control. And don't give me that BS about how Bright Jenny's coffee is better after it has been "rested" for a few weeks. When I asked the staff what their policy was and whether I could buy some fresher coffee they told me that their coffee would sit on the shelf until it was all sold and that there was nothing else available. The next thing I noticed was that contrary to what they claimed online their selection of pastries and goodies was so spare as to appear as if they just had a recent famine but that didn't prevent them from gouging high prices, with their sales terminal giving options for tips, one dollar being the smallest choice. Looks like passive consumers and ignorance is what is driving their business model and needless to say I won't go back. read more

I loved this spot! First of all the coffee and baked goods were excellent. I had an iced americano (which came in the most adorable biodegradable cup) and a scone seasoned with everything bagel seasoning. Scone had amazing texture and great flavour. The cafe had a very good covid-safe setup - enter through the front door, after ordering exit through the back door to the patio, where you wait for your name to be called and pick up your drinks through a little window. Love it! Seating isn't currently available inside the cafe but there was lots of seating on the back patio. Interior was really nicely decorated and had a nice chill vibe. Bright Jenny is the "hole in the wall" coffee spot you'd never expect. When I say Bright Jenny can turn any day around with their drinks and snacks, I mean it. They have some of the smoothest espresso in Kelowna. Not a fan of coffee? No problem! They have plenty of other drinks and snacks that'll fit your tastes. Need a place to just sit and relax? Also not a problem! Their seating area in the back gives a great ambiance unlike nowhere else. "The Bright Lab" (Their indoor seating area) is a great place to sit and focus. If you haven't been here yet, I more than highly recommend dropping in for a gathering with friends. read more

This place is amazing. A very laid back and cool vibe. I almost hesitate to review it, the lineups are continuous for a good reason. The coffee is great, the staff is interesting, and I will go back just for their Morning Glory Muffins! all but one of their baked items ( gluten free cookie) are made in house. This is the most amazing coffee shop in BC, maybe even Canada. The coffee is fabulous, the food has gluten free and vegan options and the staff are incredible.
