I don't like to give reviews but this company deserve one…read more I was a client of this property management company for several years, but my experience significantly declined over time--especially after my divorce, when I began paying closer attention to the financials. I noticed that the monthly distributions I was receiving were not enough to cover my mortgage, which forced me to supplement out of pocket. This raised serious concerns, so I started asking questions and monitoring the account more closely. At one point, I had a vacant property and gave clear instructions not to rent it out. I was told it was on hold, yet the following week the property had been rented anyway--completely disregarding my direction. When I expressed my frustration, instead of addressing the issue, they sent me a termination contract. After taking over management myself, I saw a dramatic improvement. My income increased significantly compared to what I had been receiving while they were managing the properties and finally being able to pay my mortgage. What was even more concerning was what I discovered after building direct relationships with the tenants. Many of them expressed dissatisfaction with the company, stating that maintenance requests were either ignored or poorly handled. This confirmed my suspicion that not only was I losing money, but the properties were not being properly managed. Overall, my experience was disappointing and costly. I would never recommend this property management company to other property owners.

Just a heads up if you are trying to rent with this company and have section 8 please don't try bb…read morerents I feel they are discrimatory towards people with a voucher unfortunately they will take you through the process get you approved then quit all communication with you they say to call and speak to one sepecific person who handles all section 8 and she will NOT get on the phone or return any phone calls at all. They will put anybody else in a unit before a person with a voucher and blame the long section 8 process for being the reason you were not chosen for a unit of choice please save yourself the headache. I will be reporting this company further. Just trying to save others from application fees and animals fee which you pay upfront before even getting a unit. Not all people that get help are bad we work hard too.

Non responsive, discriminatory leasing practices, and incredibly unprofessional and disorganized…read morecompany . I worked with Andrea Ceja and John W on leasing a home on 10/14/25 . Andrea decided the first day we spoke that I as a single mother would not be leasing a home, she made disparaging comments about me being the only one on the application and blamed decisions she made on John when questioned and refused to answer simple questions regarding the leasing criteria and denied my application. It seems she has no oversight on approvals and denials and it is all decided at her bias. John played completely clueless and neither of them responded to my questions. This is my second time working with this company and I do not advise it.i have heard that even the homeowners as well as residents renting from them have a very difficult time getting ahold of anyone... Update: As of this morning 10/22/25 immediately after my public review I have received a private response that is still wildly inaccurate and lacking proper documentation. After reviewing several other 1 Star reviews left for this company I have begun the process of filing a Housing Discrimination Charge Against the registered entity INVESTOR SUPPORT SERVICES LLC via https://cms.civ.ohio.gov/WebForm/UnityForm and I encourage all others who have faced similar challenges with this company to do the same.

Hands down one of the worst property companies I have had the misfortune of dealing with. Our…read morerental home's lease was taken over by them about a year into my lease and immediately it was one inspection after another. The also will insist on putting electronic locks on the doors that anyone with access to their system can open and they will refuse to provide details about how this data is protected and stored. Very shady company and their employees will try to bully you into submission. They do not have a direct line to call and the robotic answering machine is incredibly frustrating. I also think it's important to consider how their rating on Google is solely due to landlords reviewing how much they love their management. Avoid at all costs!!!!

I'm not usually one to do this, or have ever left a bad review about a company, but I have never…read moredealt with such a bad business, or ignorant people in my life until Preferred Real Estate Managament/ Jennifer Day REMAX Group. In August of 2025, Luke & I signed a lease for a duplex house in Lebanon (1/3 units). We had multiple different employees of this company tell us upon move-in, that there are 3 gas and electric meters, one for each unit. We did not second guess this, as we believed what the company was telling us to be true. Fast forward to January 2026, we noticed our Duke bill had doubled the amount it previously was. We had a Duke Energy technician come and investigate this matter. The Duke tech confirmed there is only ONE gas meter for the whole house, and we have been paying the Duke bill for the whole house, while the other tenants have not been paying a Duke bill at all. We immediately contacted management (Jennifer & Kelley) to help look into this matter, and resolve the issue. For 3 weeks, we have been going back and forth with both of these ladies. We have gotten very distant responses, if we get any response at all. It takes then days to respond, sometimes a week. They have been giving us the run around the whole time.. oh I don't deal with that ask Kelley.. oh I'm busy, ask Jennifer... for 3 weeks. As property management, you should be attentive in a big issue as such with YOUR tenants. After 3 weeks, we finally got reimbursed for all of our previous Duke bills upon move in, but were then told going forward, Duke bills will be split up based on sq ft of the unit. Nowhere in our lease does it state this, or was made aware to us in the first place. If we knew the bill would be divided by sq ft, we would have never signed a lease. We try to be frugal with our usage of utility bills, only using what we need, and our thermostat has been turned off 99% of the time upon move in, as heat rises (our unit is the top floor) & additionally, we have 2 mini splits in our unit that are fully electric (our electric is billed through Lebanon Municipal with 3 separate meters). Dividing the Duke bill up by sq ft, means we pay 50% of the bill, and the other two units pay 25% & 25%, solely, because our unit is the largest, even though we use the least. If another tenant wishes to run their thermostat significantly higher or lower than ours, we are essentially compensating for their portions of usage. What this company is doing is illegal and unjust. I have truly never seen a company use unfaithful practices as such, with no remorse or acknowledgements to their own wrongdoings, and I have never been the person to sit on the side and not stick up for what is right, especially when a company is stealing my money. Jenniferr and Kelley in management still will not admit to their wrongdoings to this day. This company is also a real estate company, so I highly suggest looking elsewhere when buying a home as well. I have already filed a BBB complaint against this company.

We've been in this apartment 7 years since before this company took over. Once Preferred Real Estate Management took over they changed our lease to month to month the last year. They've raised the rent $100 every three months in the last year. They've also kicked out an old man, who's also a veteran and now he's living in his car and possibly having a stroke because they priced him out of his own apartment. And guess what's happening in his apartment? NOTHING. THERES NO ONE THERE, while he's homeless. This apartment has had a horrible roach infestation since before I came here. And they keep making excuses about it and won't fix the problem. We also have a neighbor who's had the cops called on them 21 times in a year for domestic violence and management has done nothing while they shake the entire building. DO NOT RENT FROM 121 North Broadway in Lebanon. What a terrible group of people. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I will also be sharing this info with the news. You all are fucking pigs
