I…read morelearned the incredible hard way that Yelp is tied to ChemDrys corporate office, not this location directly. Therefore my quote for work was about 1/2 of what it ended up costing me and that was with a 20% discount for having the house empty. They operate on a $0.54 per sqft price (as of 8/23/19) not on a $60.00 per room price that Yelp quotes you back. 2 sets of stairs ran me $96.00. They are very thorough and laser measure every sqft to get you the accurate total. Do yourself a favor and call this place direct and have a good ballpark of your needed sqft of cleaning. Overall, after I let the frustration of having a bill twice as large as I expected, they did a good job. They only ran a 1 person crew which, when I have used other companies they had multiple people tackle the job. 1500 sqft took about 3 hours to complete.

The first technician was very thorough but after he left and the couch dried, some of the stains reappeared. The company immediately called me to get feedback and after hearing that I was not satisfied, they offered to have someone come back immediately to re-clean the couch at no additional cost. The second technician was just as thorough and explained that the particular stain I was concerned about may not come out because it was a water based stain and had set for so long. However, after the couch dried this time, the stain was completely gone. When the company says satisfaction guaranteed, they truly mean it. I found them to be very prompt, professional and skilled. Would definitely recommend.

A pump failed and we experienced some water damage to a wood floor in my home fitness room and…read morehallway area. My insurance company told us to call some water damage restoration companies to assist with the removal of damaged flooring, sheetrock, etc. I called three local companies, and selected SERVPRO of Southern Worcester County for two reasons. The call intake person there was very helpful and experienced, and they said they had a national contract with my insurance company. Their Project Manager came to my home quickly, within a couple of days, assessed the damage and explained what needed to be done. He seemed knowledgeable and professional. We discussed in detail the moving of one particular piece of equipment, a functional trainer (small cable cross machine) that weighs about 400 pounds. This had to be moved, as it was on the most damaged area of the floor. The SERPRO representative said they would need a team of 3 or 4 people to move this which made sense. I told them I needed it to be moved back to the original location, so it could continue to be used. A couple of days later, SERVPRO brought in large dehumidifiers and air purification equipment. A few days later, they showed up again and removed a small section of drywall. A week later they removed the equipment and said they would be back to remove the damaged floor, etc. So far, everything was moving along slowly, but seemed to be on track. A few days after that, two workers showed up and removed part of the floor. They removed part of the floor, because they couldn't move the functional trainer as it was too heavy (we already knew that). That was unfortunate, because I couldn't use it with part of the floor removed in front of it. And it meant they had to come back again to complete the job. I called the SERVPRO office, reminded them what their project manager said about moving the equipment, and asked that they make sure there were sufficient people (or equipment) to properly complete the job. There seemed to be a lack of communication between the original project manager and the rest of the staff there. I also mentioned that several other things that were suggested by their project manager and the insurance adjuster, remained undone (removing a section of drywall and baseboard. Several days later, only two workers returned. They were able to slide the functional trainer off to the side, removed the remaining floor, but were unable to move it back to a useable position (they did not remove the drywall in the corner or the baseboard, but did inspect the baseboard at my request). Now I had to find someone else to move the equipment into position, or wait for the floor to be completed and then have the equipment moved. This became a big frustration, as I was unsure when the floor would be fixed. Ultimately, I had the equipment disassembled, moved to another room, had the floors fixed about 3 weeks later, and then reassembled. This took about 3-weeks, so I lost use of the equipment during that time. Loss of the use of the functional trainer isn't a tragic issue, but it was a big frustration and could have been easily solved if SERVPRO followed through on their commitment when securing the job. Would I use them again? I'd likely try a different company, though I hope I will not need to address an issue like this again for a long time!

I contacted Servpro of southern Worcester county in the middle of the night and they were there within hours. They talked me through shutting the water off. They came and removed the stained carpet and the parts of the wall that had gotten wet. Within two weeks my basement had been repaired and looked good as new. Thank you so much to the staff who was such a pleasure and ease to work with.
