However, turns out they didn't fill the entire wall with insulation and they came out and drilled big holes in my walls on the inside and filled up the rest. However, they informed me it would be my responsibility to fill in the holes. I complained to the job boss and he sent a guy over to take care of it. However, he made a comment about how much I complained about it but I didn't. How rude. I would no way recommend this company. And, of course, now I had 3 + rooms that I had to re-paint. No happy.

He toured my home and showed me areas of airflow that could be addressed through various means of insulation. What surprised me most, is that he showed me how to address the efficiency of the ductwork in my basement with the drafts I felt in the home. I was not expecting that and the information he gave me is going to improve the comfort of my home and cut my costs in heating. It was not high pressure sales, it was just honest information. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND using Roof-Rite!! We had Roof-Rite replace our roof in 2018/2019. Before…read morethe replacement, I lived here about 10 years prior, I've never had any interior leaking until AFTER they replaced the roof. We've complained about it to Roof-Rite when we noticed water coming inside (2021). They did send out someone to "check", but they never found anything obvious, yet it was still leaking into the interior. I emailed Roof-Rite in 2022 about this issue the next winter, when it leaked again and explained this, but they basically told me to "go pound sand", because it was "an act of God" and they won't cover any damage. It wasn't until we had an exterminator out to capture a squirrel in our attic about 3 years ago, that the exterminator found a huge hole in the overhang/soffit crevice that butts up directly to the upper roof (house with upper & lower roofs, with multiple conjoined areas). This is where the squirrel was getting in. The exterminator did the best he could to fix it, and it was fine for a few years. Although, it's leaking again in 2026. Keep in mind, we've had extremely mild winters here in 2019 & 2020, along with 2022, 2023 & 2024, until this winter, 2025/2026. So, why was it that the exterminator, back in 2022, found a hole in that area that allowed squirrels to enter the attic space, and also allowed water intrusion? Roof-Rite would've found it, had they done their due diligence. Instead, the deflected, as if it was my fault and that I'm on my own. The common denominator here is Roof-Rite, and the lack of quality work/diagnosis, AFTER they did the work and were paid. Roof-Rite made it clear that they wouldn't do anything.

The last few winters and sub zero temps made my mother's home very uncomfortable, and caused her utility bills skyrocket over $400 per month! I knew we had to do something because my mother can't handle the cold, or the shocks to her bank account. However, the thought of having her deal with a bunch of contractors to price out furnaces and insulation seemed like a bad idea. After my mother received an add in her bill from Consumers Energy, I called in and the utility referred me to a handful of contractors. We set up appointments for when I would be in town visiting, and after talking to a number of contractors, Green Home Energy seemed to be the most friendly and knowledgable with competitive pricing. We met with the owner, Mark, who was extremely professional, kind, and helpful throughout the entire process. He priced out insulation in the attic, spray foam in the basement, and a new furnace. He was also able to finance the entire package through the Michigan Saves program, and was also able to get us a $1,100 rebate from Consumers Energy! The install crew was friendly, according to my mom, and they left the place spotless. My mother's place has been significantly cooler this summer, and we can't wait for the winter and cold weather to arrive to see the final result!

I have mixed reviews, I'm…read moresatisfied with the quality of the windows, though I had 1tapzoid window develop a crack from corner to corner. I requested warranty replacement for the cracked window, after review they agreed it was defective. It 2 took mths for the replacement to happen. Tech Tara did a excellent replacement of the cracked window. She was a dynamo, working by herself in the high 80's temperatures. She cleaned up her after her replacement. My biggest complaint with Majic is their terrible customer service communication. Never can reach anybody when you call their contact number, you leave your number and wait for them to return your call. It took over 21/2 mths I waited for an answer to my initial installation date, but only AFTER calling the financial institute and complaining about their lack of communication from Majic. So I have mixed reviews on Majic!!!!

We plan to move and really don't need a roof. My husband is such a nice guy he doesn't like to tell people "no". The salesman called him and basically berated him for canceling and "wasting his time". He also told him he would be getting a lot of telemarketing calls. He just wasted 5 mins of his time and my husband's just to be rude and negative towards him. That's no way to earn respect or future business. We do need windows, but would never pick Majic just for the experience my husband just had on the phone with a pissy salesman. He even said, "enjoy all the marketing calls you're going to get!" What a jerk!! Good luck getting business when you talk to people that way.
