Anthony Hyman of Fibrenew is a true professional and a master at his craft! My 17-year-old leather couch was headed for the dumpster. The leather was very worn (see attached photos), and we were prepared to spend thousands to replace the whole living room set.  Before purchasing new furniture, we decided to try to repair the couch. We found Fibrenew on the internet and contacted Anthony after reading his reviews. Anthony quoted us a fair price, so we scheduled him to come to our house. We were fully expecting him to tell us that the couch was beyond repair -- it was THAT bad -- but Anthony didn't flinch and went to work on it. Several hours later, our couch looked BRAND NEW, and we get to keep thousands of dollars in our pockets thanks to Anthony. He is coming back to repair the matching chairs of our living room set, and we will be referring him to all of our friends. We couldn't recommend Anthony and Fibrenew any higher! I had the unfortunate experience encountering Anthony Hayman on the road today. If you're going to advertise your business with your company name, location, and number you should represent it in a professional manner. Not one of road rage, aggression and danger. Anthony was aggressively trying to pass my car and nearly side swiped me. Then immediately slammed on his breaks at the red light. If you drive as aggressive and rude as you do I would never have you in my home as a service provider. You are not representing your company well and I would never use Fibrenew for any services. read more

They came in and covered all the scratches that my kitten at the time had made. I was tired of using sofa covers and thanks to Fibrenew I got a new like leather sofa for the fraction of the cost to replace. Great service read more

The picture should say it all.  It was taken AFTER Anthony and Fibrenew repaired my couch. My couch is no better than before Anthony repaired it a year and a half ago. I asked him to come back and fix it, but he claimed it was out of warranty. I would think his "repair" should be at least semi-permanent or I would have at least gotten several years out of the repair, but not even close! While he did offer a discount, I saw no reason to pay for the same work again, particularly when he could not offer a longer guarantee.  Then when I asked again (twice), he disappeared on me without another reply.  He gave no reason for why his work failed, and he did not promise that there would be a more "permanent" fix if I paid him again.    I always hesitate before leaving a bad review, but quality and customer service are the cornerstones of any business.  I simply can't recommend Anthony/Fibrenew if you have a repair need that is similar to mine.  Unfortunately, the money that I spent is gone.  All I was asking was that he stand behind his work and at least try to fix it.  He didn't seem to want to do that. We have a Natuzzi Leather sectional that was sun damaged when we moved. I called Anthony at Alexandria Fibrenew and he spent two days re-dying the damaged section. Anthony eventually contacted me so I decided to give him a shot. I asked him to repair two areas in tears in my car's armrests. Please see attached photo for the final result of the repair. I wanted to wait a day or two for it to dry and sadly, it still looks bad. It's basically an uneven black blob. The repair did not smooth out the tear and it looks nothing like the original armrest. I reached out Sunday night to inquire about a repair on a leather car seat bolster where a couple stitches had unraveled. Anthony emailed early Monday and asked to send pictures. When I did he responded moniker later explaining essentially what needed to be done but that he could not do it. He then referred me to an upholsterer that could potentially take on this job. First, I didn't actually get any service from them but the reason it's only one star is because of the poor customer service on their part. We negotiated an appointment which they cancelled. This was okay since they gave me plenty of notice. We then rescheduled for a later date with a window of time they would show up. They never showed up. I called and got the owner (I think) who was obviously still at home and seemed to have forgotten the appointment. He said he was on his way. Called 30 minutes later and still hadn't left so I had no choice but to cancel. This shop has no sense of professionalism. Go elsewhere. read more

Anthony was fantastic. Awesome results and great work ethic. I was a bit worried as he took apart my leather sofa to better access the spot needing repair. But when he patched up the tear, I could see why - he did such a thorough job that wouldn't be possible otherwise. Lots of care getting the patch right and matching the color. When he was done, he expertly put everything back together good as new. His quote was very reasonable and he stuck to it. Very unprofessional. I scheduled an estimate at my home with this company. The time was confirmed. On the day of the scheduled estimate, I was at home and no one from the company showed up or called to say they were running late or had to cancel. Amazing job!!!! There aren't enough stars for the great job Anthony did on our sofa and loveseat. Lots of cat scratches and some tears in the leather that I really wasn't sure could be fixed he did a great repair job. Anthony is a perfectionist and my sofa and loveseat now look amazing.
