This company was recommended to me by a wonderful furniture company, but it is a franchise and not all the franchises do the same service, it turns out. I had some damage to my Bradington Young couches (non-pet, 10 yrs. old) and contacted him to touch it up. My leather couches are a mix of several colors, but he did a swath of one color in a 12 x 14 area that didn't look good at all. Foolishly, I thought it would look better after it cured. It didn't. So, 2 months later I called the Rocklin franchise and he did do several colors to make it match and blend better. Important safety tip I learned after Folsom visit--tarp everything and turn off the ceiling fan. Air sprayers can leave a lot of colored dust. read more

What a waste of time contacting this company! First, I spent a week trying to reach them for an estimate for a simple repair job. After a week, they contacted me telling me that they are not interested in my business and referred me to another company. What awesome customer service! read more

Called the gentleman who provides this service and made an appointment to get an estimate at my place of work. He was on-time and professional, but when he looked at the driver's side leather seat and saw the crack in the leather he immediately said "we don't do that". He next said "I can give you the number of someone who does". Now, on Fibrenew's site there are at least 10 photos of couches, chairs, and automobile seats with far more damage than some small cracking around the seat. There is even a picture of a fully restored driver's seat on an Audi just like mine. I called the number he gave me and it was disconnected. Does anyone know what the problem is with this guy? On his website are a photo of him and presumably his wife. They appear to be 'salt of the earth' types, right out of an L.L. Bean catalog. Is this a front for a drug distributor who has no interest or skill in repairing leather at all? I'd love to hear an explanation for this. I'm a doctor by profession and if I treated one of my patients like I was treated by Fibrenew, I'd be expecting a call soon to attend a deposition with my attorney. - LG read more
