I came in with a set of pre made leather seat covers and new seatbelts for my 1998 Toyota 4Runner. A nice car but not a classic. I was looking for high quality work but on a bit of a budget. I have a classic VW bus and needed a new headliner. I bought a custom kit from a vintage VW warehouse and thought I could install it myself. Well... it was a much bigger project than I was comfortable with and I needed some professional help. Based on a couple of references, I reached out to Paco's Custom Upholstery and I'm glad I did! Come to find out, the product I purchased was poorly made and needed to be drastically modified, here is where the masters come in handy. Paco's was able to rebuild the factory headliner with the extra material included and professionally install it. I dont know how long Pacos has been in Roseville, but it seems like it's been there since i was a kid:) Ive never really needed anything upholstered, but I bought a used vehicle that had what appeared to be a spot in the backseat that was sagging. The dealer indicated he would pay for the damage. The first idea that popped into my head was Pacos. I took the vehicle in, and they gave me an appropriate estimate. They said the "sag" was actually a burn and the upholstery would need to be replaced. I agreed to the estimate and the work was done quickly. Scheduled appointment and they had them reupholstered sooner than promised and they look spectacular! I'll post photos shortly as 'a photo is worth a thousand words.' I didn't care for the stock Sea Doo seat even though new... and my old Goldwing seat from 79 was the original. I've been cleaning out my garage today and keep finding myself looking at both ski and bike... The workmanship on the install for both... Professional! I've got a 74 Ford Bronco which, if kept, I may be looking to have reupholstered... And an 07 Ford E350 van I'm presently converting into an RV... Paco does a level of quality that makes his auto upholstery work equal to, if not better, than factory original. My Ford Expedition had a worn driver's seat that was redone in matching leather material and the stitching, piping, etc., was done so perfectly that it was impossible to tell it was not the original seat. Just beautiful work. Paco even added foam cushioning to bring the seat back to the original feel and comfort level of a brand new seat. I made my appointment two weeks in advance to have the car dropped off for the work and Paco was ready when the day arrived. The SUV was finished when promised at the price quoted. I can't give enough stars for this shop. Can I write two five star reviews for ten stars?! I have a boat which needed 1/2 the upholstery replaced. I had quotes (for all the upholstery) ranging 3-4 thousand dollars. I decided to take out the cushions that were damaged and take them to a few shops in town. The first I went to looked at them and said he won't touch them for less than 1200. Ouch. I went down the street to Paco's and met the owner, Jenny. She was very friendly and quoted all the work for $700. Where do I sign?! She went over all the fabric options with me and offered various stitching options their competition didn't. When I went to check the status of the job, she told me to bring in the boat the next day to install. Install? I planned on doing that myself! She said she wants to make sure all the patterns line up. Makes sense, and a quality job. I am writing this review at a bar around the corner while I wait for the work to be finished. They were running a little behind schedule, and are staying late to finish my job on a Friday night. That's dedication! If you have any upholstery bring it to pacos! read more
