They are easy to deal with, the office staff is pleasant, and they pricing is typically at or very near the lowest. Propane supply has a lot of game players with mystery fees and other strange practices. Office staff are sometime brusque and unpleasant; prices are often a big negotiation. I've not experienced this with Johnson, and it's one of the reasons I keep coming back.

This propane company has unethical business practices. I was told over the phone in 2018 I'd be…read morepaying $1.99 per gallon only to learn I was charged $2.39 per gallon. I had been with company nearly 10 years including when it was previously a small company Petoskey Propane prior to being bought out by Suburban. The company make the customers jump through hoops to get good prices and then does not live up to their end. They have 2 years in a row made an extra delivery against my better judgement. I have dropped them as my purveyor of propane and suggest anyone considering doing business with them to do your homework. There are better companies in the area wit better prices and customer service. I'm being charged a premium to have them pump out the remaining propane and a $50 tank pick fee. I will never do business with this company again. I see no difference between this company or Amerigas. Neither company is user friendly nor do they care about their loyal customers.
