Same owner got himself a grant partnered up with Travel centers of America that has a new ta Express just built. This is a franchise not corporate owned. A very nice facility when I came in just recently opened days before. A very nicely new pave parking lot for now a beautiful brand new building. Featuring three different fast foods in the food court it has a now open Hardee's, a el tapiato fresh Mex Express similar to like Moe's Chipotle etc. And a full-service Sabarro. Are the general public it has easy access to the gas pumps it's got very clean brand new bathrooms of beer cooler soft drinks moderate size convenience store nice looking selection smaller but still good. It also has a community coffee nice to see out of New Orleans area that you find them further south. They're still working out some bugs in here they got showers I got a scale they got a little TV room. They're also the old rundown shop is going to get reopened again he hopes with a little bit of luck as things progress. I think having the TA name under his belt is going to be a good thing to bring more people in I just hope they don't trash it honestly. I came in and had Sbarro the other day enjoyed it very much. I hope you have good luck with the new center it's nice to see how clean it is right off of interstate 40 easily accessible and on the Long mountain route between Cookeville through Sparta down into Chattanooga.

The store was clean, everything was well stocked, and even with plenty of people coming through, the service was fast and organized. That's one thing I like about Buc-ee's. They can be extremely busy but somehow keep everything moving. I got the North Carolina BBQ sandwich, and I loved it. My wife enjoyed hers too. The food is one of the main reasons we stop at Buc-ee's instead of a regular gas station. There are so many options, and I really like seeing the new food and snack choices they continue to put out. Every time we stop, it seems like there is something different to try. The selection of Buc-ee's snacks, popcorn, crackers, jerky, sweets, and other items makes it hard to walk out with only what you came in for. Another thing I love is the cheap fountain drinks. When you're traveling and making several stops along the way, it's nice being able to grab a big drink without paying ridiculous prices. Of course, the bathrooms are another huge plus. They were clean and well maintained, which is something Buc-ee's has built its reputation on and one of the reasons it makes such a good road trip stop. Plenty of gas pumps, clean facilities, good food, tons of snacks, quick service, and just about anything you could need while traveling. Buc-ee's is more than a gas stop for us. It's usually part of the road trip. We'll definitely continue stopping whenever there's one along our route.

Food is just ok... but like I said .. it is a fun stop. Bathrooms are exceedingly clean and plentiful. [important for a road trip] Would I go back? I did... so, yes, I would again.

Today, as is the case several times a month both pumps were out of order! Typically couple of times a week the two pumps are with out of service or out of fuel! That's bad enough but then when there is fuel and/or pomp's are working inconsiderate customer tie the two pumps up by going into the store leaving their vehicles blocking customers to access the flex fuel instead of pulling forward to park in front of the store thus freeing the flex fuel pumps for others. One would think that a company like speedway would rectify this issue by placing signage at those two pumps asking customers to free the space after fueling. Lastly, you would also assume that if you provide a product that is not available anywhere else within 60+ miles that you would either have more pumos to provide it or at least make sure it is available and pumos working! I have contacted Speedway customer service in the past since this is an ongoing problem to no avail.

The impossible perfect storm that led to my 15 month old locking himself in the vehicle with my keys in his hand while my phone was left at home. It was a new, terrifying and humbling experience. I went in and their store phone was unable to reach my husband because his area code was out of state. I asked the employees if I could please use someone's phone to call my husband or if they would call him for me...that he was 2 miles down the road with a spare. Every single one of them said No. I had to insist, at least 4 times, for them to call the Baxter PD and they didn't even bother to use the store phone for that, they pulled their cell phones right out of their pockets. My son was outside, screaming while he had inadvertently pressed the panic button on my keys...while the employees displayed virtually zero empathy or compassion. I went outside and asked the closest vehicle with people in it to make the same call and before I could finish asking a phone was offered, and any additional assistance available....thanks to their kindness and quick action, my husband got there within minutes and my son was calming down in my arms before BPD even arrived. That couple was such a blessing and I cannot Thank them enough. I deliberately shop here and hide painted rocks here....my older children enjoy visiting and chatting with Guy when they get special slurpee's after school. I cannot understand why Ashley, Jasmine and Rhonda flat out refused to make a phone call that would have ended the nightmare ordeal as quickly as possible. Thankfully we were parked in the shade at 9am, so I did not need to break a window and scare him further (if necessary I absolutely would have)! I love the small town community of Baxter and today was rocked to my core by the indifference I experienced.
