There's a bar under the tent too; probably pretty cool to chill and drink out there in the warmer months. Inside it's a little orangish, reddish, and dark, but looks like a dive bar (not in a bad way). There are some tables lined up in the middle and against the wall. Service was a bit sluggish, bar tender waited on us mostly and someone else. Ticket times were a bit longer than they should have been for burgers and fries. But, the bar tender and server were both very nice and friendly. Food was alright. Burgers were requested medium but came to the table completely hammered. Flavor was good, fries were pretty good but it's a little hard to mess up fries. Had some bacon ranch tots on the side and saved the fries. Tots were good too. If there's a next time I'll try the wings, but realistically it's just a bar that serves food. Bands play so if friends or family visit maybe I'll bring them here.

The bartender JEN was very nice & I could tell that she loved her job. Keats Pub is a very welcoming place. Customers from young to not so young were having a lot of fun. I returned a week later with my wife and she also said that it was s very comfortable place. The staff took so much pride caring for the patrons. The juicy chicken fingers with mild sauce & fries I had were cooked perfectly. This place has a friendly atmosphere that will make you want to come back for more Pizza, Cheese Steaks and so much more. The barmaid (forgot her name) was very friendly, comparing notes about our college careers and the fact that we were both psychology majors-her at Wilkes and mine at Kings but that being a long time ago. While I was there I struck up a conversation with a few younger guys sitting next to me at the bar while watching football and baseball on the TVs. Overall I had a great time as always and hope to get back there for sure the next time I am in Wilkes-Barre!

With this particular dinner you have your choice of potato, my choice was their fresh cut homemade fries, yep, I added the gravy. This was very succulent. baked to perfection, you tasted the seasonings, the gravy. The appetizer was the nacho cheese platter where the chips were toasted, and the cheese gave it that extra flavor. Everyone has their days, but this is not the place I fell in love with, what a shame. The dirty wine glass was pretty upsetting, but most of all, when it took over 20 min to get seated, blatantly ignored by every staff-member, we asked to pay for our drinks so we could leave. We were waived off (and no not in the nice way, more like OKAY shoo!) Adding insult To injury like our money wasn't welcome anyway. This was one of my fave places. The pie tasted like it had instant mashed potatoes on top and lacked flavor throughout. The big mic had some of the flavor it was going for, but the toppings were too large (big chunks of beef and lettuce) - would maybe be better if they were cut up smaller. Also, the dough seemed too thick for this (almost like it was made on foccacia bread), a thinner curse would have been much nicer. Both were terrible and I'm upset I wasted $32 on our lunch. They gave me grilled chicken, when I wanted crispy and the sauce was not a hot wing sauce, I honestly can't tell you what sauce it was and they forgot my side of blue cheese dressing. My husband's French dip had very little meat and the meat it had was very dried out. Would not recommend the sandwiches at Pappy's.
