Jojo left and new owners are taking us back in a time to the original Donkey. Open merely a week and a limited menu, but I was only coming here for wings anyway. Got 10 mild and garlic parm boneless bites. The mild sauce would be considered hot anywhere else. Super tasty. Garlic parm was not overpowering and quite perfectly balanced. Highly recommend both. We also tried the chicken empanadas and they were super tasty along with the two dipping sauces. So glad this off the beaten path restaurant and bar has reopened. Can't wait to come back. I did come back 8/5 and had another amazing time on bite night. Delicious!

Our server, Michelle, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made excellent recommendations. They had several daily specials that all sounded amazing. We started with the cheese fries, which instantly brought back nostalgic memories, they were simple, comforting, and absolutely delicious. For our meals, my husband ordered the Crispy Chicken Salad, topped with two large hand-breaded chicken tenders tossed in mild sauce with blue cheese dressing. My daughter loved her 6-cut Red Pizza, which arrived perfectly crispy and full of flavor. I ordered the wings, fried to perfection and served with mild sauce and blue cheese. On Michelle's recommendation, my son went with the Breakfast Burger, and wow! It was enormous and incredibly juicy. Every bite was outstanding. If you're anywhere near the area, do not sleep on this place! Their slogan says "Almost Famous," but I honestly don't think they'll be "almost" for much longer. The celery was so fresh, and the blue cheese dressing was chunky, tangy, and fresh and was the perfect accompaniment to the spicy, but not too spicy, wings. Yes it's a little towny, the neighborhood locals "live" here, but it's friendly and the owner and bartenders keep it friendly. You'll feel welcome as soon as you sit down. This is our second time eating here and the food has been excellent. The wings are small and crispy and they have great sauces. Today we tried the potato pancakes and the half cheesecake with five wings combo. Those potato pancakes were among the best I ever had and half cheesesteak was absolutely delicious.
