You can definitely tell that she pays attention to detail when taking care of the apartments. While moving in everything was so clean and accommodating. Felt like we were coming home. +1-On a more personal level we came with our 10 month old son and she was able to supply us with some accommodating equipment. It was so wonderful our son was so happy. -1( but not the owners fault)-Sadly though our stay was short-lived. Unfortunately this location is not listed on the shuttle route (For FAA Academy Students) and being that Mustang Oklahoma is considered a more remote area ( Not our words, but the locals) there isn't any public transportation available. Best suggestions for an issue like this is to make sure you have your own vehicle. If we would have had our own vehicle we would have stayed and been so happy. +1-Thank you so much Shana for our stay, you made our first experience to Oklahoma really nice.

Shana the manager is very very sweet and available whenever you need her. We had a few hiccups with a couple leaks when moving in but she had them taken care of right away. The staff was very helpful in getting me all the information I needed and helped get my paperwork done as soon as possible. I was able to sign my lease from a different state. They were very accommodating and even face-timed me to show me the exact apartment I would be living in per my request. On move in day I was able to get my keys promptly they even left a little welcome package in my apartment. The apartment itself was very clean, cozy and comfortable and in a very nice area. I loved the granite countertops and black appliances. We did a quick walkthrough to record any flaws in the apartment which weren't many. They have an online system that allows you to set up text and email messages to alert you when you receive a package. I didn't have any issues with mail and received all my packages. This is a family friendly and pet friendly neighborhood. I always felt safe here. It also has a lot of things within walking distance like grocery store, gym, bank, fast food, etc. I hardly had any maintenance issues come up but when I did, maintenance responded and resolved them within 48 hours. I lived on a second floor apartment so I didn't see many bugs. Maybe a spider or two but there is optional monthly pest control. You may not even need it. I had a couple of noise complaints while living here but like I said, it is a family friendly neighborhood. It's usually pretty quiet and kids are playing outside during the day. You may catch some bunnies hopping around at night too. Move out was a breeze. The paperwork was very quick and easy and they told me exactly how much I owed for my last month and what needed to be clean. I received my entire deposit back minus the last water bill. The only reason I moved out was because I relocated to a different state for work. If I had to stay in OKC, I would have remained in Highland Pointe. I highly recommend this apartment complex. If I could give it more stars I would. The rent prices are exceptional for what you are getting; especially compared to areas closer to central OKC.

They do not enforce dogs and the cleanup from them. Yes, they provide sacks but bends are always full and trashy, not to mention fast food trash that is daily in the parking lots. Trash trash trash - I wish I could only give it 1/4 of a star. Look elsewhere for your home. You'll hate living and trying to park and carry packages blocks away from your door.

My husband and I extended our lease for an extra two months because our house would not be ready…read more When we did that, we also told them we would be moving out September 28th of 2017. We signed our papers and left the the office as they told us we were good to go and wouldn't need to be back until we turned the keys into them. September 27th comes around and I have a letter on my door saying thank you for renewing our lease through November. I politely go up to the office and tell them we did not renew it and are moving out the next day. They conveniently couldn't find any paper work saying we were moving out. Not to mention, they stated that they put several notices on our door saying we needed to fill out more paperwork. Not once did I receive any notice of the sort. I only received notices of inspections and sprinkler tests. Eventually after hassling with them, they say we are good to move out but have to forfeit our $250 deposit and THEY would place a stop payment on our account. We were told we could sign a paper (again) saying we were vacating when we turned our keys in. We signed our paper, turned our keys in, and left on the 28th of September. We just thought that would be the end of it. Here we are September 4th and they have deducted rent ($930) from our account on the 3rd. My husband called and was told that we would have to bring a bank statement up to the office and they would send it to corporate and fix it. I took the statement up to the office and the "senior manager" stated that she "called and left a voicemail saying we would have to call our bank to do a stop payment because they couldn't with it being that close to rent being due." Which, I understand and would have done so. However, I NEVER ONCE received a call or voicemail stating that! For that matter, my husband didn't either. I even double checked that they had the correct phone numbers on file. Which, they should have because they haven't changed since we moved in. Clearly there are incompetent staff here. Not to mention, they are the absolute WORST when it comes to communicating with their tenants let alone each other. We were told our bank statement got faxed to corporate. I have since requested proof that it was faxed and have put a call into corporate myself. I understand that it is a business to them, but the fact that they show absolutely not motivation to fix THEIR mistake makes me absolutely irate. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. Sure they are decent apartments, but it's not worth the hassle that comes with it. If you chose to still move here, make sure every single piece of paperwork you fill out, you get a copy of it! Then, make sure you call and double check that they actually did what they said they would do with it. We didn't realize we needed to remind them to do their jobs. We thought that is what management was for. We were clearly wrong.

We are believe it or not a unique united community. EVERYONE HAS AN ISSUE or a bad day that we'd all like someone to forget about or look over! This place is run by humans for other humans, so yes living here 5+ years I've seen some things, heard some things- yet the good still outweighs the unpleasant moments! This property has been managed by two different companies. I've seen a total of three property managers since I've been here, I've seen maintenance crew come in and out. However, my request has always been taken care of, my voicemail has always been returned and my face has always been met with a warm smile. This place rings of loud loyalty! From the moment we moved in til this day that we're moving out - we will remember ###02 as a home not just because my family made it one but because the people around us create and external atmosphere that added to making it one! *To all the previous managers thank you! However...... Peggy and Nick I have appreciated the laughter, real talk, the events you've hosted (the unfortunate new workout equipment THAT I WONT GET TO WORK OUT ON) and unwavering support you have provided-you both understand my reasoning for needing to move and I appreciate your support/sadness to see us leave. It's rare and beautiful to see a management team care about its residence. - MERRY CHRISTMAS

When I first moved in two and half years ago I remember, the first thing I heard was my upstairs neighbor peeing. Lol this is not his fault of course, but recently someone else moved into that apartment and I started having more serious noise issues at night. I've complained to management about the new noisy neighbor who among other things likes to listen to loud music/ movies in the middle of the night in his bedroom. They told me to call "security" the next time it happens so they can witness it. So when my neighbor started doing his thing at 3:30 am I called them, they took 20 minutes to come. The guy comes up the stairs and I tell him to come inside so he can hear the noise. He said he couldn't go into the apartment. Well, it doesn't matter what it sounds like at outside, it matters if there is noise in the apartment, where I sleep. To make matters worse the "security" went upstairs and knocked on the upstairs neighbor's door. I was in my room at the time and heard my neighbor turn off the sound, open his door. Well, guess what, no noise now! 5 minutes later the neighbor is playing music even louder and yelling. This was pretty upsetting to me, first that I lost 3-4 hours of sleep and second that the neighbor had the nerve to turn the music up and yell for the remainder of the early morning. It's not really management's fault but there needs to be something they can effectively do about people like this. I am lucky in one thing, is that my lease is about to end. If you break your lease in the middle of the term at Canyon Ranch it is pretty expensive. If you want to avoid being stuck with a loud jerk neighbor and a long lease DO NOT MOVE INTO APARTMENT 5723.

Then today because my videos weren't "proof enough" for Michelle the manager who told me I need to get a office member to witness these incidents with my neighbor, I went to go get Nancy at 1:50pm on Saturday who told me she'd be coming to my apartment and never did, when I watched her leave the office I asked her if she was still coming because I had been waiting an hour and she shrugged her shoulders and told me she was too busy and couldn't hit overtime. Wow, so the videos aren't enough and you're going to lie to me and tell me you're gonna come to my unit and just don't?
