She has knowledge in a vast array of topics from physical symptoms in body correlating to emotional issue to understanding empathic people, navigating relationships and current events/happenings in society that may be affecting you or your family. She has a way of injecting humor where its needed and I always feel lighter after a session with her. She's held space for me when I needed it and helps validate me trusting my intuition. Alisha is a really warm and pleasant Reiki. I'll admit I don't have that much knowledge of how Reikis work. I booked a remote session with her, which is basically a long distance session. She had me tune into meditating music on Spotify and left me alone to self-orchestrate a meditation for an hour. It wasn't unpleasant. I won't say it wasn't nice, because it was, but this is already something I do quite often on my own! I'll wrap it up with this. Alisha is a great person to work with or contact if you do not know how to meditate. You should go to her if you truly don't know where to begin. This was an honest and unpaid review. Update: Alisha suggested something was off with my liver. I would have never imagined my daily pains were associated with my liver! My journey to Alisha was definitely destined from the get go since I found Alisha after my San Diego, CA trip one year ago. After falling in love with La Jolla and truly missing San Diego from my inner core I was so happy to find her Instagram page and her positive posts especially those breathe taking La Jolla's sunset's post. Shortly after going through her page I discovered she does reiki's. I was semi familiar with reiki's but I looked it up to get a refresher and it just clicked in me that I needed one. At first I thought I'd have to go back to CA but when she posted she was in NY and had a couple spots open I jumped and secured a spot. I was quite honestly in a funk. I wasn't happy at all and I knew I needed some type of guidance but I didn't have anyone that I could trust or even connect with but for some reason I was drawn to Alisha's page. I decided to contact her and she was a pleasant surprise and she answered any questions I had from the start. So just to start off this was my first reiki session and quite honestly I didn't know what to expect. What I walked into was Alisha greeting you at the door with a big warm hug. Again, unexpected I'm a New Yorker at heart and that's not something I'm used to walking into on my very first visit. She starts you off by getting you comfortable and it is an hour of guided meditation and at the end she will do an angel reading which was completely life changing. Again, I'm not a public person and am quite honestly a very private person so for Alisha to pin points the things she mentioned pertaining to my health and my family history was mind blowing since there's no way she could have researched me or even known that fact. In addition, to a new path I was going to embark. At that very moment, I knew she was definitely gifted, legit and I took her insight seriously. So immediately, I took her advice and completely changed what I ate, how much water I drank, connected to my spirituality via yoga and made myself more self aware. I was able to loose 20 lbs, I feel more spiritually connected like never before, clear minded and extremely zen and at peace. I just recently had my second session with her after 7 months from the first and the second time around was just as amazing as the first. I was able to concentrate more on my meditation and her insight once again was spot on for that very moment in time. I needed that and it's helped me so much in every aspect of my life. I even got my acceptance letter to my grad program that very same day and I'm truly a believer that there's no such thing as a coincidence. It's always a sign from above. So if you're into this type of thing Alisha is the person you need to go to! She's been a blessing beyond what I could have ever imagined. My Reiki 2 attunement with Alisha was, to sum it up, life changing. This has ended up being an even bigger leap into self-discovery than I ever imagined. I have also found that the world of Reiki has become a bit clearer than it was after the level 1 attunement. Alisha is wonderful! I just recently started doing session with her because I was in desperate need of understanding in my life. Alisha and I meet remotely every week where she will read my energy and help bring about clearings. She has helped me understand parts of my life where I have spiritually been stuck. Every time I've worked with Alisha she brings light, understanding, and advice. I feel cleared and more aligned after a session. I really enjoy meeting with her, realigning myself and my spirit and learning more about myself and my energy. I've really come to enjoy my sessions as they are therapeutic, refreshing and renewing. Alisha is prompt, and on time with each session. And since I'm not residing in Californian at the moment, when we begin a session we will briefly talk over the phone, set up the same playlist and simply focus on breathing. Alisha is amazing! She is only in town certain weeks, so I made a special drive up. I wasn't disappointed. When I met her I felt very comfortable. I was really nervous going in, and wasn't sure what to expect. It was lovely. We spoke after and I cried. It was a very emotional experience. I'm not sure how to explain it. Wow!!! What to say about Alisha and her amazing self!! So first off the name "fiercely optimistic" sums her lovely energy up so perfectly! I have never met such a beacon of radiant light. I came to Alisha because I wanted to uplevel myself in the realm of self love. Just looking at her before you even get to know her you can tell she radiates it.
