Pretty sure this is a scam. I've gotten lucky in the past finding psychics or past life readers online through reviews so thought I'd give this a shot. I got a full psychic reading and it was pretty vague. She also said that I have some kind of spiritual pattern where good things are supposed to happen for me but the timing is always wrong and she believes this comes from some spiritual block that she needs to investigate for an additional fee. My gut told me this felt wrong because she upsold me so quickly after a pretty vague first time 30 min reading. But she offered to do the investigation for a lower fee. I stupidly accepted. She said that her investigation showed someone put a curse on my mom while I was pregnant and that's why I've had struggles in life. I have no idea who that could have been and neither did my parents. She said she'd try to find some special tea to help me but haven't heard from her in a few months. read more

Before I start my review, here is info about me if you haven't yet read any of my other reviews of psychics. In addition to being a scientific/engineering consultant, I'm a mystic, spiritual healer and an intuitive. When I travel, I usually get readings from at least 2 local psychics -- each total strangers to me before the start of the reading -- wherever I visit. Since I'm a mystic and spiritual healer, my life is filled with Divine love and grace, and I'm happy and very much at peace. I want to stress the fact that when I make visits to psychics during my travels, I am not seeking help with any problems, nor answers to questions, nor am I seeking spiritual guidance. Rather, I visit them and ask for a general life reading simply because God asks me to do so, and to have a fun way of connecting with other practitioners in the realms of the metaphysical arts. So, when reading my reviews of psychics here, it may be VERY helpful for you to bear in mind that I did not visit them with any problems, serious questions, nor wishes in mind, nor with any "neediness". Due to this fact, your own experience with the same psychic might be very different from mine. In other words, your mileage may vary (from mine)! Further, my reviews of all psychics are for their psychic readings only, and never for any additional services that they might offer, such as healings, cleansings, or spiritual guidance. During a 7-day stay in the Lower East Side of Manhattan in mid-September, I noticed a sign, along with the phone number listed above for this biz, reading Psychic Reader & Advisor on the outside wall of a Chinese restaurant on Delancey Street. I copied the phone # (via a quick foto of the sign taken with my cellphone camera), and called it later to schedule an appointment. And so, late one mid-September afternoon, I rang the bell on a nondescript brownstone on Ludlow St., and was admitted and guided to an apartment on an upper floor where Lisa administered my reading. I asked for a psychic reading plus palm reading; I believe that the total fee was about $90 or a bit more or less. Lisa was a slender youngish woman (in her 30s, perhaps) with blonde (bleached-blonde, for accuracy) hair, and she was very friendly, personable, and very professional. As is always my practice when getting a reading, this was a totally cold reading: I told Lisa, prior to the start of the reading, only my first name, date/place of birth, and that I was visiting NYC for a few days and staying in a hotel. I told her nothing more about myself until after the reading had ended. Overall, I would rate the reading at about 4.6 stars, which, for Yelp purposes, I will round up to 5 stars for greatest accuracy in reporting. Lisa was very relaxed during the reading, and it was almost as if two old friends had met to chat for a while after not having seen each other for a few years. Lisa managed to perceive and report accurately that I was a mystic and that my life was very much involved with spiritual pursuits, and that I also had considerable psychic or intuitive abilities. She also reported correctly that I do a lot of writing, largely on the Internet, about topics of interest to me, and that I spent many years of my adult life in graduate school. She also reported correctly that in addition to being a mystic and a spiritual guide/healer, I had great expertise in a number of different scientific fields. Lisa also made a couple of predictions for my future, of events that might occur over the next 6 months; I will have to wait and see if they come true. I did not solicit these predictions, as I never ask psychics for predictions regarding the future; such things are of little interest to me. Notably, unlike many storefront psychics, Lisa did NOT attempt, at any point during the reading, to push any upsells on me, nor did she try any cons on me. At all times during the reading I found her to be friendly, sincere, humble and kindly in her demeanor. Much as I mentioned above, the tone and flavor of the reading was one of two old friends meeting and chatting for an hour after not having seen each other for a period of a few years. I must say. Lisa made every option available to me. I was on a business trip outside of nyc and she was able to read me over the phone. I had convenience and privacy. And although my business venture looked bad she assured me with such confidence that it will work out and before i got on my plane i got a call that i didnt think would ever happen. She was right.
