I emailed the week of to confirm the date and received no response. I then called the day before the event and Phillis apologized and said they would be here. They were supposed to arrive at 9am today to set up and start the event at 9:30am. Phillis called at 9am saying they were running 24 minutes late. The address says they are only 34 minutes away so I was confused on why they were almost 30 minutes late. I should have read reviews on Google and Yelp prior to booking. It looks like they have a history of being late to events. :( Upon arrival, Phillis apologized and said they can stay late to make up the time. Unfortunately, my preschoolers are on a schedule. We have lunch time, naptime, etc. The train arrived in pieces on the back of a pick up truck. Once they put it all together it seemed they had trouble getting it started. At some point Phillis left. She didn't tell me she was leaving nor did she introduce the 2 gentleman that stayed. The 2 men that assisted with the train hardly spoke English. One stood under a tree on his phone during parts of the event. The driver drove SO fast the first time we had to ask him to slow down. There are no seatbelts or bars to keep the children safe on the train. The driver didn't even have mirrors to see the passengers. **PLEASE add rear view mirrors to your train so the driver can see the passengers behind and know when to stop or slow down.** The train worked after the first 2 groups then died. Our next class had to wait in the heat until they got it started again...but thank goodness it started! I shortened the train ride event and we ended early. I only know of 2 trackless train companies in Austin. I will go back to the company we've use in the past.

This review is for the San Antonio location…read more My husband and I met with Lisa H. in March to pick out tables, chairs, steak knives, and troughs for our June wedding. I finalized and paid for my rentals according to Marquee's contract with no issues; They had no problem taking my money. We felt that the rentals were definitely overpriced, but since Marquee was the only place that had what I wanted, we bit the bullet and proceeded to rent 8 tables, 12 benches, 20 chairs, 3 troughs, and 80 steak knives for $1300! We opted to pick these items up instead of paying a $400 delivery fee. The tables I received had dried stuck on food and stains on them. The chairs I received were covered in dust and most of them were badly damaged. I received two different sets of steak knives that did not match. I had to spend several hours cleaning these items on the night before my wedding. Several of my guests commented on the terrible condition of the chairs. I'm dreading seeing them in my photos. I hope I don't end up having to pay my photographer to fix chairs in my pictures. I contacted Lisa after my event and let her know that I was not satisfied with my rentals. She agreed that the items never should have been sent out in that condition, and told me she would speak with her GM. I never asked for any sort of refund, my message simply stated that I was unhappy. After speaking with her General Manager, she told me there was nothing they could do to make this right for me. After they received my Google review, Lisa contacted me and offered me a $300 credit. I accepted. It took her over a week to process this refund, and I had to email her to remind her. Always check the condition of your rentals and complain immediately. Even if it is 2AM the night before your wedding.

Fernando was super friendly and nice. The day of the party they arrived right on time, and set up quickly. Their equipment was SUPER clean and nice. The way the schedule worked out, they actually didn't come back to pick everything up until the following morning, and my daughter of course loved the extra time on the moonwalk. Such a fun birthday! Before they packed everything up, they meticulously wiped down and cleaned everything. We were so impressed! Very professional and very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend!

I asked about what safety precautions he takes concerning high winds and he definitely had a plan and policy in place. After reading the contract we were afraid we wouldn't be able to continue because we don't have a layout for our sprinkler system and he uses 18-in. spikes to tether the bounce house. He was prepared with 500-lbs of sandbags at a very good price. He was timely, his contract was clear, and he communicates well with his clients. When he came for the bounce house, he spent a considerable amount of time vacuuming and wiping it down inside, so safety is a priority with him. I'd have no issue recommending his business or hiring him again.
