Food was typical Dalton Mexican. Service was atrocious. No drink refills, server passed our table multiple times. Later she said it was because she had a huge party( which came in close to the end of our meal). We waited over 35 minutes for her to bring a check. Only when we stood to walk to the cashier with no ticket did she decide to acknowledge us. The slender man at the register called me rude when we refused to tip her and told him we would not be back. If you want a tip you need to work for it not ignore customers. We usually eat here once a week due to close proximity to our home, not any longer. Dalton has too many other Mexican restaurants serving the same menu. Adios Fiesta! By the way you should have taken the keys from the 4 drunk patrons at the bar considering we watched one almost hit 3 cars leaving his parking spot. Very loud and noisy not enjoyable. read more

We were able to get into this restaurant when there was 45 minute waits at most others including Waffle House, yep, Waffle House. This restaurant has a bar area and a huge dinning area. There is also ample free parking available in their private lot. They do all the stuff traditional Mexican restaurants do like bring you free chips and salsa and put a hat on you and sing for birthday boys and girls. They have your typical Mexican food like enchiladas, steak, burritos, tamales, tacos, and chimichangas. I went exotic and ordered the Pina de la Fiesta, but without the shrimp. It was delicious. It came with rice, and refried beans. MMMMMM, it was warm fresh and was a ton of food. I had to take a doggie bag home. The restaurant has televisions around and has a party room available. They have been touting their catering and it looks like a good deal from what I have been reading. Now service here is ok. And I must admit that the restaurant is not the cleanest. The floors were horrible and needed a good mopping. It is an older place or at least looks older and could use a little update. I was on the fence with this one. Haven't even made it to the food, but this place is a dump! Went to take my daughter to the restroom, but the men's restroom had no seat on the toilet. Went to the other one but it smelled so bad and was clogged. Seating is not good for families. Stuff stacked up on a run down stage. Just dumpy. Hopefully the food is decent. Service is slow. We decided to try Fiesta after a recommendation of a waiter in another restaurant. We had tried 6 other Mexican with most below average results. We were seated promptly and chip and salsa were brought to us. Our waiter took our orders after explaining items on the menu where we had questions. Our drinks came quickly however things slowed after that. Our waiter was being asked to handle more customers than should been expected to include a party of 16. He had to be his own bartender a good portion of the even. He did his best ho address all his customers. Our good arrived in an acceptable time frame and was the best Mexican food we've had in Dalton. The check took a long time to receive as our waiter was swamp. We had to ask the manager for this. Although the service wasn't great, it wasn't our servers fault. Management did not staff properly for the evening. All said, the food is good and we'll be back. read more

So glad to find a restaurant that serves an excellent mojarra (deep fat fried fish that came piping hot) with lettuce, pico de Galla, rice, chips and homemade salsa. Some of the best I have eaten in a rather non-descript Mexican restaurant that I might have passed by if my friend, a local, hadn't taken me for lunch. She ordered a chicken dish and was pleased. Service was prompt and good. Prices were reasonable. I'd definitely go back and my friend plans to order the same, the mojarra, #20, once she found out that even though she is celiac, and very gluten intolerant that there is no cracker or bread coating. The worst Mexican dining experience that I have ever had and possible the worst dining experience that I have had period. The night started out by my boyfriend and I parking in BFE only to walk to the side of the building and play a game of hide-and-seek to find the actual entrance to the restaurant. We walk in to find some nice scenery. Some of the nicest decorations that I've found in a random Mexican restaurant in Dalton. The staff was friendly and was extremely enthusiastic about sitting us down at our table. What a sadist. We were thanked for coming and was told that our waitress would be around shortly. We waited for less than thirty seconds before our waitress arrived, made playful banter, took our drank orders, and checked our ID's. She admitted that she wasn't sure whether they had the beer that we had requested or whether they even had beer on draft at all, but we told her that it was ok if she wanted to ask someone. From this point on, we almost never saw our waitress again. She was replaced by a demon spawn that is the anti-christ of all waiters on the face of the planet. There was a pale horse that rode up to the table and its rider was named Ernesto. Ernesto came to the table and introduced himself. As he spoke, a feeling of foreboding washed over us, I broke out into a cold sweat. Tensions were high at Fiesta's, an indescribable stillness filled the cantina, a knot began developing in my stomach. He told us that they most certainly had the beer that we wanted to drink and it was on draft. We were happy and ordered nothing but a plate of beef nachos and jalapenos. We were given chips, salsa, and assurance that our food would be out in no time. The chips were OK, but the salsa was probably one of the biggest tragedies in food history. It was like ketchup and bloody mary mix, which I'm wholly convinced that it was. After waiting for an entire twenty minutes, our chips and salsa were gone. Our mouths were drier than the jokes that came out of Ernesto's mouth all night. Ernesto finally came over and explained that he had to see our ID's before were served alcohol in the state of Georgia. I told him that I was very familiar with the law and that we had already shown our ID's once before, but Ernesto apologized and insisted on seeing them again. We showed them reluctantly and then waited another ten minutes before we ever being brought drinks. When Ernesto finally stopped waiting on all two of the other two tables, he brought us our drinks in bottles. He cringed and explained that he was mistaken and that they only had the beer that we had requested in bottles and put it on the table already open without asking if we wanted something else at all. Ten more minutes went by and Ernesto comes to the table and admits that his job is very hard and that he shouldn't have relied on basic memorization. He asks me what I wanted to eat AGAIN! I finally put my order in for the third time and it finally comes out after another twenty minute wait. At this point, our original waitress comes to the table and tries to wait on us at the same time as Ernesto in what I can only describe as total Hell. I ordered a Margarita on the rocks, the waitress forgot twice what I ordered within a twenty second time period, Ernesto forgot to bring me silverware, and the limes I asked for took another ten minutes to be brought out. Another ten minutes goes by and I am brought my nachos and Margarita. I finally have everything that I need to be able to actually eat the food that I've waited nearly an hour for. While I'm trying to eat, Ernesto keeps popping off Netflix suggestions and keeps trying to make stupid small talk that my boyfriend and I are most definitely not interested in. I then explain that we are gay at one point in the conversation and he scoffed at us. Sickening and disappointing. This is the 21st century, Ernesto. I finally get to start getting into my food and the more I eat, the saltier it is. I thought the margarita would wash it down, but it just made things worse. It was like the taste of sweet tarts that had sat in a bottle of water for days in a hot car. We finally got our bill, paid, and left. If you're looking for a good scare this October, do not bother paying for a ticket to a haunted house. Shock, fear, gruesome food, terrible service, and blatant homophobia, await you at Fiesta's on Cleveland Highway. Definitely a dining experience that you're not likely to forget. read more

Sad to see a restaurant empty during the COVID but the staff was really professional and made sure that we had everything we needed. Typical Tex-Mex food, but still a better option than most around Dalton. When they first opened, they came out of the gate strong. I had a lot of high hopes for this place. But unfortunately the last few times I've visited have left a bad flavor. Recently the chips and salsa have gone way down hill. I'm not sure how many times a resto is legally allowed to reheat chips in rancid oil and serve them before being thrown away. (And these aren't thoughts an eater should really have before they even place their order.) For the rest of the food, you'll probably be okay if they made any that day. There have been far, far too many times where I've been told "they're out," or "didn't make any that day." If it's something you only make once in a while, put on a Daily Specials board and take it off the regular menu. The space itself is huge, but they only seem to use one side of it as a restaurant. I suppose they might open it up for special occasions, but I have no idea where anyone would park. (There's not a lot of parking space even for regular business.) All-in-all, if they can get their act together like they did a few years ago, they'll be back as one of the top eateries in town. WILL NOT BE RETURNING. I had ordered a taco bowl. When it came the shell was completely soggy AND it was cold. I asked the waitress and she tries to tell me it was because of all the juices that are soaking it. First of all this shell was soggy to the point where it was obvious that it has been sitting there for a while and second, there is no way for the shell to get so wet to the point where it was basically mush cereal if it was made fresh. I sent it back and asked for a new one and guess what? this shell was nice and crisp. I should have said, " why didn't this shell get soggy?" This place also isn't shy to overcharge you on your "meal". It came out to over $60. Yes there were five of us BUT both of my kids just got 2 tacos each ($9 for 2!) my grandmother got a kids' plate but they decided to charge her an EXTRA $3 just because she was an adult. My husband ordered a regular meal and I'm pretty sure they charged me TWICE for my meal. So I will say this will be the LAST time we go here. We met friends who were from out of town to enjoy a nice dinner. We actually don't live in Dalton either. We travel from an hour away. Our service was good, got all our orders correct (party of 6). The food was yummy. My only gripe was I didn't get any drink refills. Even after we paid our bill we stayed and talked with our friends. Once the bill was paid the server never returned to our table. A large group was seated after we were, and they had drinks and food delivered wrote our server even checked back to see if we were ready to order. Our server attended several other tables as well. We have been to this restraint several times and always had good food and customer service but we were just in there tonight (8/07/2020 getting there just before 8 and leaving little before 9) and they literally need to fire every server all except one chick that was busting her tail!!! Food was burnt (first time ever having that there) my bf ran out of drink 2 times and stayed out for a while before finally getting refills, my daughter ran out once barely any attendance to our table, my food had stuff on it I'd asked not to have and the waitress actually noticed it before handing it to me but then literally brought it back out and you could tell they only scraped it off leaving some still on there which it was only on the little salad portion so would have been super easy to replace, and lastly we stood at the cash register over 5 minutes with EVERY EMPLOYEE looking at us, some even walking all around us and not doing nothing! Then finally a guy that had already been standing and talking to another employee and just staring at us from just few feet away, waived down a chick and pointed at us, that was setting at a table with 2 other girls where her and one other was rolling silverware while the 3rd was just playing on her phone and all 3 had already looked at us several times and when he did so the 2 others not even getting up proceeded to roll their eyes... I frequent this restaurant for lunch quite a bit and have always loved the food and service. however something happened today that will cause me never to be back. while eating I noticed a roach crawling across the wall. We alerted our waiter who sent a lady over that I assumed was the manager. she didn't introduce herself, just walked up and asked if there was a problem. I told her what we saw and all she said was, I will take care of it and walked away. she continued to deliver food to other tables. she did not seem alarmed, surprised or apologetic. I know that these types of things can happen in a restaurant but how the staff reacts to it speaks volumes to me. her reaction told me either she didn't care or that this was not the first time this had happened. either way, I will not be back. we were also charged our full bill. I am not saying I would not have paid what I owed anyway, because I would have, but the offer to discount our bill should have been made in my opinion. read more

We fell in love with Fiesta when it first opened. Their food is delicious and abundant on the plate. It's really close by our house and they're consistent with their food and wait time. They have a full bar, but no drink menu to choose from. So, know what you want before you venture in if you're planning on having a drink. The bar is slammed until 3am every night and then all the drunks venture over to the Waffle House next door. But we've never been for the night scene, just the food which is not served after 9-10pm, fyi. I know it seems petty, but they lose a star for the shit server, Ernesto. After he got hired, we considered ourselves lucky that we had managed to not get him as a server after hearing the way he tries to "woo" customers. He's an idiot and anyone with any intelligence will find him extremely annoying very quickly. He's also very flirtatious. A lot of customers are infatuated with him and would consider him a good server, but after we finally got stuck with him as a server and he tried to make a joke and instead insulted my relationship with my husband, we've avoided going here. He's awkward and makes us feel uncomfortable. Besides, anyone who wears a Scooby-Doo tie and refers to pizza as "tasteless cardboard empty carbs" (overheard him telling another customer his views on pizza) can't be trusted anyway. I had a great experience at this new mexican restaurant. The cheese dip was uniquely delicious it wasn't watery cheese dip like i have had in the past at other mexican restaurants.
