Fresh, hot, tasty food at a good price. Started with chips and salsa (yum) and some queso dip. We had the Quesadilla Ranchera and the Enchiladas Del Mar and both were delicious. The quesadilla was served with beans and rice and salad. The enchiladas were stuffed with nice sautéed shrimp and not fillers (I.e. peppers/onions) and their sauce was very flavorful. My husband truly believes that all Mexican restaurants are the same, and truly, this menu did feel very familiar. Everywhere like this has free chips & salsa and my favorite combination meal: taco, enchilada, burrito. They were exactly as I expected. However, the chips and salsa were better than average, and the margarita was wonderful...not super strong but tasty. The portions were generous, the prices reasonable, and the service good. I'm not sure we had a single waiter; it was like any employee walking by was eager to help. One spoke very little English, but that made everything feel more authentic. I really enjoyed the festive decor - so bright and fun. The place was packed on a Monday night, a clear favorite spot for locals. Terrible experience! Lets begin with the 1/2 basket of chips and salsa. I'm not a huge fan of hot salsa so I asked if they had any mild salsa (example Amigos restaurants) and the waiter said yes but he actually should have said no, he brought back warm red sauce (example enchilada sauce). So then I asked for a bowl of white queso dip it was served to us completely watered down. I ordered the beef nachos they were served to me with very little ground beef lots of lettuce little to no re fried beans and maybe 8 chips that were drowned in watered down white queso so much so that my chips were soggy. i dont have room to list how skimpy the beef burrito my husband ordered or the bad sweet tea. We were never checked on one time once our "food" was served. In my opinion if you can't afford to serve non watered down food or refill the chip basket or drinks or put meat on your entree's maybe you should close your doors. read more

Stopped in on our way down to Valdosta, GA. Didn't look like much from the outside, but the inside was great. The food was excellent and the Margaritas were even better. Very clean bathrooms. Great "kitschy " decor. Well attended by (I would assume) a local crowd. read more

service was pretty awful got 1 refill through an hour long meal not for lack of thirst rather lack of service. ordered custom nachos to which they for some reason beyond anything I can comprehend they flooded with onions and peppers. We were a party of 6 food came to the table quickly. Then didn't see the waiter again till he dropped of the bill. Four of the 6 had ground beef. Only one ate their order they all said it tasted off. I had chicken it was not seasoned at all. The restaurant was filling up some folks seemed to be regulars. I don't think the food was bad, the seasoning was off. OK, this is the original Los Pablos, moved up the street towards I-75, so it's the same great mexican food we've come to expect from Pablos. Tonight was our first time back inside the restaurant (actually ate outside on the patio....how nice was that!!!) and the food is really good. Nice to have a draft Dos Equis dark again. Looking forward to getting back into our routine. If you liked Los Pablos, you'll like this place too. He's got a bar you can sit in, plenty of tables and booths, and a nice outside dining area. read more

My girlfriend & I came here because we were craving Mexican food & came across this place. The restaurant was beautiful and covered in art, not to mention the chairs and tables as well. We both ordered shrimp chicken and steak quesadilla. I forgot the name of it but it was delicious and it came with a side of rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole and lettuce. The chips and salsa were delicious a little spicier than I like but still good. The service was excellent and the food came out faster than we could imagine, She literally just brought us our drinks and chips and then two minutes later our food was coming out. We have been coming here typically 1-2 times weekly most of my life. Probably about 24 years. Such a shame that I'm having to do this but I'm ready to burn this bridge after the disrespect. Planned and booked my daughters bday in their back room 2 months in advance. Show up day of party(Saturday) after eating there the previous Monday and confirming the spot and giving an updated head count. They say "im sorry, we gave your room away". That was awful considering we had people from Atlanta, Chattanooga and Harrison Bag area there for a birthday dinner without a space for our group of 30+ people. We were split up into multiple booths and one large table. I hated that I felt like we couldn't talk to everyone because we were all mixed up everywhere. Now tonight..... we arrived around 6:30. We have a group of 5 so I understand a wait. However an hour and 15 minutes while about 20 parties were seated ahead of us in booths. The time came and they were going to seat us. There was a booth open and a large table. We assumed we were going to the large table because if we were going to be squished into a booth wouldn't that mean we could have been seated an hour ago instead of waiting so long that people who were seated after we're waiting were already LEAVING! They had decided to squish us in a booth instead of giving us the table and said WE COULDNT SIT AT THE TABLE. I'm sorry but this is insane and beyond rude to make us wait that long just to seat us somewhere they could have an hour ago! Never again. read more
