Updated review: I've been coming to Fiesta Ranchera for a year now and now that I've tried a variety of menu items I'd like to make some recommendations. Pollo Santa Fe is still my go-to. My husband's favorite is Pollo Ranchero if we are ordering to-go and Alambres Special if we are dining in. The wings are sooooo delicious. They have a breading on them that makes them crispy. I swear to you, they are the best wings in town. We have had the sampler platter which was very good. The beans are outstanding. The staff here are so kind and hospitable. Claudio takes our order when we get take-out and he's a gem. It's an all around wonderful experience every time we eat here. read more

Today was my first visit to Fiesta Ranchera and I will be back. The service, food and ambiance were all on point. It was very busy at the time I was there, but the staff made it transparent with the service they provided. No long wait time for food, as it came out piping hot within minutes of ordering. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in our town, and we have about 10. There are actually two Fiesta Ranchero restaurants. Both of them are great but I prefer the one by Krystal the other one about a mile down the same road has an outside patio if you like that sort of thing. Staff is always friendly food is served with a healthy portion always fresh. Also has a good happy hour Monday through Friday 3 to 6. If you like shrimp I would recommend the grilled shrimp. I always order grilled shrimp nothing with it it's a good healthy meal reasonably priced much more so than most places. read more

I have been dining at La Fiesta Ranchero #1 since 1997. Whenever my caving friends and I would meet in McMinnville to cave in the area for the weekend, we always made it a point to eat there. 20 years later, I am still enjoying it, although now I have a choice of locations. The atmosphere is cozy in all LFR restaurants, and the wait staff are always top notch. The portions are sizeable, the menu is diverse, the food is authentic, and the prices are fair. From a previous review this place is good enough. Nothing special. The food is average for the style of Mexican it is but the pitchers of beer are big and the beer is cold. The inside isn't the best but definitely not the worst. My main complaint is there is no bar for a single person to sit at and watch TV. There are tvs but I am not sure they work since they are not on. I had good service to start but my server has since become a ghost. I love this place and would pick it over any new Mexican restaurant or chain restaurant any day. They have a great selection of Mexican food that is cooked perfectly. The chips and dip are authentic and you can't get them anywhere else. The only place that has tortilla chips similar to theirs is Piggly Wiggly in Cross Plains, Wisconsin, and the only reason I kept buying them was because they remind me of this place! The fajitas are great, but what goes inside them are what makes them. The meat is so juicy and even tastes great as cold leftovers the next day. I've gone on dates here, I've had birthday parties here, and when I come back to Tennessee this summer to visit my family, this is one of the places I want to go. read more

Been eating at Fiesta my entire life, the first mexican food I had ever eaten came from here, and I would always protest going anywhere else. WELL things have changed, my last five visits or so have all consisted of a lower quality product (specifically in their cuts of meat) as well as worse service. But in a town with nothing but atrocious bars and Applebees, this still is the best place in town to have a drink. 32 oz Dos Equis for me.
