This is the best Mexican Restaurant in Adrian, hands down. The chimichanga's are especially good.

The times that I came here the line was very long but they were able to handle it very fast and get people deployed to their tables in a timely manner. The girl taking our order was very patient with us and offered excellent suggestions. I ordered the Texas fajitas and ate on it for 3 days. It was Delicious and plentiful. Another day I ordered the shrimp salad and it was delicious. The only thing that I would suggest is them chilling the shrimp first because they melted my cheese and I wasn't particularly happy about that in my salad. I would definitely return. I heard that the Margaritas are strong and cheap but I cant attest to that as I never ordered one. read more

Well, I thought the food was good but there definitely wasn't enough. I NEVER want to leave a restaurant still hungry, and unfortunately I did. I went there with my family and we had a bigger group. When we walked in, I thought we had stepped into a bar in East LA. Very poor decor, bad lighting, overall pretty dirty. We ended up sitting in their pool table room. Unfortunately, the jukebox was BLASTING, and there were kids running around everywhere like it was an episode of Romper Room. I ordered a taco salad and it came in one of those new flat bottomed taco's. Not the taco bowl. I'm ok with that, but it was about 1/2 the portion of a regular taco salad. The food itself was good, but out of principle I was not going to order another one. The rest of my family enjoyed their food too, but all said it was not the best they've had in Adrian, and certainly not the best they've ever had. The thing that saved this place from 2 starts was the service. We had an incredibly cool server who joked with us the whole time and was right on top of our requests. Everything came out quickly, and he gave us the perfect amount of attention. We all had separate checks, and he nailed that part too. Great job guy! Now you just need to work in a restaurant that matches your excellence. read more

This was the best Mexican place I've been to. And for the price, completely worth it. I got the burrito loco and it was huge and packed with meat and veggies. My fiancé got a beef fajita and it was enough to fill 5 tortillas extremely full and enough meat to pepper ratio. 10/10 would recommend and we will go back! read more

As a family , we decided to eat at a Mexican restaurant . We have eaten here in the past and since we were in the area we chose this place. The waiter was cordial but we noticed other people got their food 10 minutes before our table. Our food finally came and two out of five of the orders were cold. Since all of us were hungry we just ate , especially since we had an hours wait for a table. My wife and I got the chicken quesadilla and the white queso smothering it tasted like they melted white wrapped slices ( the cheapest sandwich individually wrapped slices) full of salt and watered down, don't ask me how! My daughter got queso and it was s but slightly less watered down. My other two daughters had some refried Bean paste , watered down again, but watered down with dishwater!! Everything was otherwise quite bland and tasteless, except for the overly spicy sauce for the appetizer chips, and I call it sauce since it had nothing in it that reminded anyone of SALSA. I suspect basic food items are massed produced somewhere ? and why you would thin or water down inexpensive basics that are ingredients for most dishes on the menu doesn't make any sense for a restaurant that wants repeat customers.I know my family won't waste any more money at a place that serves poor quality food like this place slops on a plate! I've went here for year's, and the food has slowly gotten worse. And another thing that's absolutely beyond ridiculous, is that I ordered a beer to have with my dinner, and they denied my state ID because it was vertical. A state ID is a state ID. It's Government property no matter which way the state ID goes. They discriminated me just because I have a state ID that's vertical. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. I don't know how this place has only two stars! Their servers are always friendly beyond belief, the white cheese dip is to die for and every meal I've ever had was delicious. I've never tried the "weak" margarita pitchers but the regular margaritas are good and I can taste the yummy tequilla. My choices: the chile relleno, nachos Mexicanos, and the fajitas rancheras...all top notch for me :) my husband loves the El Di especial. I gave 5 stars to make up for people's whining about margaritas but it's probably a 4 star due to awesome local authentic Mexican food, but lacks slightly in decor and polish which one would expect from a high class 5-Star joint. read more

This place rocks! I've walked in with groups of fifteen about half hour before closing time and they seat us with a smile. They don't skimp on the complimentary chips and salsa, either. As far as alcoholic beverages, I've had their bottled beer (decent selection) and their margaritas. I've always thought the margaritas are plenty strong, not sure what the bad reviews about that are talking about. They have always brought our food out rather quickly, and the right order at that lol. Portion size is very generous, so left overs for lunch the next day, can't complain about that! read more

This place is awesome! I love the staff there. They are always super friendly, fun, and fast. When you walk in, you feel like family. The specials are great too. I love the margarita specials of either $.99/each or $9.99 for a pitcher. Strawberry is my favorite. As far as the good, I've never gotten anything I didn't like. I usually go with the steak fajitas or the nachos Mexicanos. The white cheese sauce is AMAZING. I can't get enough of it! People go here to drink for a few dollars. They have a decent white cheese sauce. Their fried tacos and chalupas resemble store bought shells. They have good fajitas for the local area. The food is good, but their ID policy is absolutely ridiculous. They will not serve you with a VALID ID if it's vertical, even if it's obvious that you're over 21 because everyone born in your birthyear is already 21. I even had a second college-issued ID card on me with my birthdate on it and they wouldn't accept it. They claim it is because they have waitstaff who cannot read English, but that's their problem. Can't read a simple birth date? Go give it to a manager! It's ridiculous that I will be 23 before my ID expires and still won't be able to order a drink here. read more

I've been going here for over 9 years and have never been disappointed. If you think the margaritas are weak all you have to do is tell them and they fix it with no problem at all. They have updated their decor but whether you like the decor or not, can't beat the food and familiy style service they always offer. And, they removed the pool table. read more

My husband and I both have eaten here several times, love the food here, portions were just he right amount, not so you would feel stuff when you walk out the door, people are very friendly who work there. BEST homemade tortilla chips in town very fresh and warm. And you can even buy yourself a bag to bring home for later snacking. I like them cause they aren't so salty like store bought chips.
