Long story short, there was a fraud hold placed on my account that shouldn't have existed and he was able to figure out where, why, how and expressed the situation to the correct department to get the hold removed. I won't go into all the details of why it was more challenging, but the vendor was in another country so it got super weird. FINAL POINT: this guy is a hero for me! Thank you to Dollar Bank for having such a comprehensive banking manager who understood my situation perfectly. He even brought up other solutions for my banking needs while I was here! Third Federal did not make things easy for me by refusing to update the address of ONE statement…read morethat is mailed to an address where the family house was just sold. Instead, they told me not to be concerned because the account is closed and the mail will just be returned to the USPS!! They suggested I go to the post office and request address forwarding INSTEAD of them simply updating the address on that particular statement. I have a few larger accounts at this bank and now I'm going to be open to other banks that work with me better. They are absolutely ridiculous! I'm tired of just accepting this level of treatment. There is too much competition to deal with this.

I called and spoke to Sheri and she walked me through the process. Unfortunately I did not qualify the first time (4 months ago), and she said she would keep my application till September so I could apply again. I honestly totally forgot about it and Sheri sent me an email asking me if I would like to try again. Of course I said yes and this time i did. Sheri walked me through the process and had an answer for me within 12hrs. She explained to me what I needed and that I could email or fax it over since my work schedule is hectic. I went today and signed the papers to refinance my motorcycle. She also informed me that I qualified for a higher cash back percentage. I was more than pleased. The whole process took about 30min to sign all the paperwork and get my account set up. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions. She also offered to write the credit bureaus to help me get rid of some of the things that were showing on my report from years ago that i settled and hadnt come off yet. The rest of the staff there was awesome. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to open an account or refinance anything.
