Jenae washed, cut, layered, blow dryed, curled my hair in under an hour and the curls stayed for 2 days before I finally had to wash it. I don't know if its the curling iron or her but I am going to guess its her. I hadn't had my hair cut in more than a year because I have some horror stories and don't trust anyone. After calling in and explaining my situation I decided to try because we clicked on the phone. She's even better in person! Getting your hair cut by Jenae is like going to your friends house and hanging out for an hour - leaving with, of course, a hair cut. Both my daughters will be going here from now on along with myself. She understands me and she understands my hair. Perfect because my hair and I love her!!! Don't even get me started with price... She could definitely charge more... I've paid more for a lot worse. I wish I had somehow found her sooner, would have saved me so much headache and so many dead ends. I almost didn't write this because I don't think I can describe in words how amazing she is. I think you need to go in yourself. To see is to believe... as corny as that sounds. The only downside is the hours of operation. They don't work well with my schedule but I will definitely make it work for future appointments. I will be with her forever... or until she quits.

I was told there would be someone at this location contacting me within 48 hours. I waited over 3 days but because it was weekend, I gave it another day. Finally someone called and said they made a mistake that the sale price in their system wasn't updated. This is a chain store. And this particular one is new. They could have done better. The very inexperienced and young stylist, Sabrina, was a DISASTER! First, she was very inexperienced in even washing mom's hair. She had absolutely COLD water until my mom complained. Then, she got water all over the floor so one slip for the elderlies, would have been it! She did not even know how to seat my mom properly into the seat so that her neck would be tightly cupped by the sink. Sabrina was totally a disaster! Second, I asked for a cotton ball for mom's ears for the hair wash and can you believe a hair salon has NO COTTON ??!!! Are you kidding me? Third, her little curling iron was the short 6 inch square flattening iron iso a standard curling iron so mom's curls are FLAT curls! I could have done a way better job than paying Sabrina to do it but unfortunately our regular hair dresser at Hair Masters in Ladner was away sick today. Sabrina is a sweet young girl but what she needs is WAY MORE TRAINING as she is incompetent and so inexperienced as a hair stylist. My sister had recommended Jessica and my sister's highlights look great. Wow - my hair looks awesome. I highly recommend Jessica at Myne. Best hair cut and highlights I have ever had and the price was good. My aunt was one of the best hairdressers in the country (she won many competitions, including best in BC) so I know what I am talking about. I used to go to Atomic Hair Studio and thought they did a good job but they certainly never did as good of a job as Jessica at Myne. Everyone who has seen my hair since getting it done says it looks amazing. I have never received so many compliments. My spouse even said I look "Jennifer Aniston hot". I will definitely keep going to Myne Hair spa. It is worth the drive. I would not go anywhere else. Plus the salon itself is absolutely beautiful. So modern and so classy. Many many many thanks to Jessica for making my hair look so amazing.
