It is a family! They are very caring, respectful, and understanding. I came to Arthur Murray Dance Centers in Clermont without any previous dance experience, at all! I was a fantastic chair dancer and I could wiggle my butt off while cleaning or cooking, but that's as far as it went. In my time at Arthur Murray, I've never been talked down to or made to feel insignificant. The instructors are very supportive of how far, how big and how fast you want to go. But to know this and to experience this, you have to actually spend some time there. Don't expect to get a good feel for a place if you walk out the door at the first chance you get. The cost is not cheap. That is true. But you get what you pay for and I see it as an INVESTMENT in myself. Dance is my therapy, and I'd rather pay for dance therapy than any of the other therapies, including physical therapy and medication, which did not help my chronic pain illness. I am glad that I gave Arthur Murray a chance, and I am happy to have stuck around long enough to see them overcome the bumps and grow into the cohesive and strong family they are.
