From the moment you walk in, you can tell this isn't just another gun store -- it's a true one-stop shop where "if they don't have it, you don't need it." The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They greeted me right away, took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, and gave honest, expert advice without any pushy sales tactics. These guys clearly live and breathe firearms and love helping customers. Their selection is insane -- handguns,rifles, AR platforms,, 300 blackout, you name it. They carry everything you could possibly need, plus suppressors, an on-site gunsmith for custom builds and repairs, and they do professional Cerakote finishes right there. I walked in thinking I'd just grab a couple of items and left with everything on my list plus a few smart upgrades I didn't even know I needed. The shop is clean, well-organized, and the prices are super competitive. Whether you're a first-time buyer, a seasoned shooter, or just need gunsmith work done, this place delivers on every level. Walked into this place and was immediately greeted, very friendly and professional people. I came to check this place out. I noticed there has not been much update about this place. The display cases were organized to see the different handguns that might interest you. The usual companies are there, as well as some regional competitors, which were showcased to me in a professional presentation. As I was being presented some of these options, I was also paying attention to another customer getting similar service and making a purchase. You will be in here to find what you need with their help and if will be a smooth process. They offer a lifetime service with a purchase of their firearms. Cleaning, modifying or adjusting services are available. I asked if they do anything within the community such as shooting events or anything of the sort but wasn't really given an answer. (At least my train of thought at that time was focused on something I found interesting.) The place is small but they mix in enough accessories to help you with any range time you may be doing. They do have a service from a smaller company that can do custom molding to your handguns with custom designs. I myself am for small businesses especially if they are local and are made in the U.S.A. I have pretty strong expectations about a business and this place did not disappoint with the personnel who greet you here. Whether you are a novice or well versed in the industry this place will address any concerns or let you become aware of newer products. Ammo is a bit over priced, but it's available and in bigger boxes so if you really need it it's there. From what I have seen this store has a lot more than the other stores. So I took my brand new Jericho 941 to Gun Dog Armory yesterday for a simple front sight swap. Received it back with a marred up site that may or may not be centered and marks running along the bottom of the slide. So I called and asked to speak to a manager and was told to stop by around 10am today when they opened. So I did. I started talking to the manager (short sticky guy with brown curly hair and glasses maybe in his early 30s). Basically talked me in circles saying he followed the directions. And blamed my gun. Told me there was nothing he'd do so I told him they could shove their $30 a box 9mm (115gr. Blazers 50ct.) Up their asses. Then was told to leave and not comeback or I'd be trespassed. Take the other negative reviews they have at face value and go elsewhere. This shop is super unprofessional and is also going against the Orange County mask mandate. read more

Purchased a firearm with them few months back, and all went well. Until I wanted to do some upgrades to my AR, and found out that the "fully mil-spec" gun did not have a mil-spec buffer tube. I had already purchased a mil-spec Magpul stock to go on my firearm. So I went in to the Gun Dog Armory to see if they could make it work. They told me, "Oh, it looks like this is a commercial buffer tube and won't work with a mil-spec stock." I said, "You told me everything on the gun is mil-spec" they then told me that it must have been a mixup with the armorer and that they could fix it for me. They then made me purchase a new buffer tube and were almost going to charge me to put it on my rifle. Customer service gets a 1 star because I can't rate it a 0. read more

I've never handled a gun aside from a water pistol or playing some rounds of paintball. So I'll be honest I was pretty nervous! Talk about the worst kind of company. Their pricing is astronomical, no doubt they've jacked it up even further since COVID. They'll act like your best friend until you buy something, and if you do and there's any kind of problem, too bad, no refund. "Store policy". You're the owner, guy, and you're ripping people off. Go to Orlando Gun Club in Ocoee instead. I guarantee the extra time to get there will be worth not having to deal with these pieces of price-gouging garbage. When you walk into Gun Dog Armory you instantly feel welcomed from people who love their job and love helping you whether you're there buying your first gun or a gun part. Not only are the employees super enthusiastic but they all bring huge amounts of knowledge and experience to the table and offer solid advice. Honestly the worst experience at this place ever. Purchased brand new sights for my carry pistol, the front lamp was busted upon install. After being told they warrant all work, so long as I purchase the sights directly from them. Reluctantly I do so, and find that not only the sights but my slide had been damaged. I was told to go F myself, and when I had them knock off the defective set to return back to trijicon they damage my slide further! Will not be returning, and will NEVER recommend gundog to anyone. You'd think they would repair damages they do during an install being a gun SMITHING shop, but when you tell your customers oh well suck it up buttercup after they've paid hard earned money for a service or product. read more

The service is good when your making a purchase but if you have issues that's a different story. I bought a gun there and it didn't work from day 1 when I took it back to have it checked out they kept it for 2 weeks and still hadn't tested it, they told me that it would be next week. the mark up on their accessories is ridiculous. Just be very careful to know what stuff is worth and that it works before you spend any money there. read more

I wanted to get some Blueing and stock refinishing on a C&R rifle of mine to restore it back to its glory. I was wanting something professionally done right. They (the gunsmith) insured me it was going to be the best thing I've seen yet. I pick it up and wasn't impressed. No wow factor nothing. I could have done the exact same job if not a tad bit better myself. I was wanting a nice smooth stock finish and it end up with rough with bumps and semi smooth stock. Looked like an amateur bubba job that cost me 450 bucks. The blueing was still patchy as I know it can be difficult but that was mediocre. I am really bummed out on the results of the stock and what I paid for it. If you're wanting work similar to this I would invest in somewhere else. I'm sure they are good at other things but stock refinishing and blueing are not one of them. read more

If you're looking to buy your first gun, or just add to your collection, this is the place. My house was broken into a few years ago. I immediately contacted this company already having a gun in mind. The owner, Casey, didn't try to sway me in any way. He just wanted to make sure I got exactly what I needed. As soon as I found it, Casey put the order in and it was in my hands quick! I purchased a Smith & Wesson .38 Special w/ 4" barrel. The owner, Casey, made my first gun buying experience wonderful and I would go back to this company in a heartbeat. This place has everything you need! I was able to look at all the guns I needed, definitely my favorite gun store.

Dishonest...they screwed me... After a 30 day wait for a gun I ordered from them,I was told "our suppliers does not have this gun ,you are on a waiting list" at that time I asked them to give me a refund minus a $45 for an item I purchased on the same invoice . The reason for asking for the refund because Casey the owner of the store lied to me by promising that the gun will be in two to three weeks. They did give me a refund ,however they kept $277.26 as a 20% restock fee. They charged a restock fee on a gun that I never received,a gun that they did not have in the store ,a gun that their supplier did not have in stock. Figure that out...
