I received nothing but the highest quality of treatment from him and his team. I also wish to extend my thanks to the physical therapy team in both the Findlay and Tiffin office. I received rehabilitative services from both locations and saw an increase in strength and stability and a large decrease in pain. My distaste, however, lies with the surgery scheduling team and the billing manager. I was assured by the surgery schedulers when scheduling my surgery back in January and February that all surgical services were approved and covered by my insurance. I was told that the only payment I would be responsible for was the remainder of my deductible and out of pocket. After my surgery, I received an explanation of benefits from my insurance that said quite the opposite of what I was assured by the schedulers and billing team. My insurance did not cover a large portion of my surgery, leaving me with a bill several thousand dollars larger than I was anticipating and, understandably, quite the headache. I was told by my insurance company that I could have Dr. Elbert and the billing team at NWO submit an appeal on my behalf to try to get the uncovered portion of the surgery paid. I called the billing manager multiple times and never heard back. Multiple voicemails and emails to the billing manager went unanswered. After weeks of waiting, I submitted my own appeal without the assistance of NWO. As I assumed, the appeal failed. I am responsible for the several thousand dollars of uncovered charges and the billing team at NWO failed to help me in any way. Had I been informed that I would be responsible for several thousand dollars of additional charges, I likely would have wanted to talk to Dr. Elbert about more cost effective treatment options, however, because NWO's billing team failed to do their due diligence and failed to own up to their mistake I am left with a large bill. I am very disappointed. If NWO is willing to reach out and work with me to get this bill taken care of, I will gladly change my review.

I feel the medical care is good, the staff friendly but the computer system is a joke. So much for…read moreeasy to use and quicker. I've got some weird texts that I have no idea what that's about! Seems like they don't want to talk to you unless it's thru a screen. Very confusing to me.

Cancelled my partner's appointment on the spot after he waited 15 minutes for…read moresomeone to even appear at the front desk, because they didn't want to do a nerve conduction test after his surgery that was three weeks ago and he was fully healed, repeatedly saying "the doctor would prefer if you are fully healed" with no other explanation. I have had my own appointments cancelled the day of and day before with no prior notice. Unreliable scheduling and long waits. No excuses at all would make up for the atrocious scheduling. Extremely disappointed with the staff here and the customer service. We will be going elsewhere for neurology from now on.
