The works range from jewelry, glass, wood work, ceramics, photography, sculpture, and paintings. Surprisingly the original art work was not outlandishly priced. Plus they have small originals, prints in smaller frame sizes to postcard size that are more affordable priced. My favorite works were Jack Nissen's wood bowls and painters Carol Quinn, Barbie Smith, and Valerie Bye. To me, their art echoes the beauty of our local landscape. I easily connected with that. I bopped in when Michael and Natalie were staffing the shop. Micheal had a bright, enthusiastic attitude. He warmly greeted everyone that walked. He had a great rapport with customers. No snobby pretentiousness. Besides the art another work in the building. The building itself is a beaut. It too has a rich history going back to 1850. In the beginning she started saying disparaging things about fat people and suggested that diabetes is all in one's mind. That was just the first class. When I found out I was taking the same classes as someone who was about to graduate, I asked how the levels worked. She said "We just wing it and it works.". There was no possible way to get my money back. I'm glad I only attended a few classes and made one payment. I feel bad for people that sign up for her future classes. Don't do it. There are better schools out there even online if you just look. I wish I had done more research.

They are insanely knowledgeable, calm, reassuring, experienced, loving....I could go on and on! These two wonderful midwives truly offer the best care a woman (and the whole family) could receive and they are worth so much more than what they charge. I could have had my entire birth paid for if I had seen a Dr and delivered at the hospital, but these two are worth every penny. We always felt special and never rushed at our appointments. They always made sure to tell us about all the options and helped us weigh the pros and cons of all the testing and procedures that come along with pregnancy. They always had perfect answers to my questions and their suggestions were always spot on. Everything they ever suggested that I do worked like a charm and you can really see how much they love what they do and how much they love each and every new baby!
