Claude came to my home with books of sample materials, taking a picture of my chair, asking questions and offering advice, he showed me what my chair would look like in my preferred samples. He was knowledgeable in assisting me with my choice, and explaining the expert craftsmanship that would go into rebuilding, refinishing and upholstering. A day later Audrey called to tell me the chair had just been examined and they were looking forward to restoring it. I would be so pleased with the workmanship because they employ the very best and if I had any questions don't hesitate to call her. Every employee I dealt with spoke highly of the company they worked for, the incredible craftsmanship and quality control that goes into everything they do. I love my new chair.

I would strongly caution that you DO NOT contract TMC Restoration for any furniture restoration…read morework. TMC grossly overcharged, and their workmanship is extremely substandard: * TMC refinished my dining table although it looked good cosmetically the entire table collapsed during a dinner with 10 guests. The dishes and food spilled on the floor and on guests. * TMC refinished and reupholstered my 8 dining chairs. The screws used for the cushioned seats were too long and protruded under the pressure of people's weight. Some guests suffered discomfort. * TMC refinished my antique tea wagon. The stripping and refinishing were substandard, and it was returned so unstable that it is no longer usable. TMC refused to provide a reasonable financial adjustment. Incredibly they refused to take responsibility and claimed that natural wood movement, my uneven flooring, or misuse may have caused the dining table to collapse -- a claim that is totally ridiculous. I have contacted the Ontario Ministry of Consumer Protection to complain about TMC's misleading discussions, poor workmanship, and discussions that led me to significantly overpay for work not completed to agreed standard. We are considering further legal action.
