I never received a formal quote - just a text No drawings provided to sign off on No follow through on their end when it came to scheduled appointments When I followed up with them to see when they would be showing up, I was told anytime so I proposed a time and they changed it 3 times within less than 12 hours. This caused issues for me for other appointments I shifted around. When I expressed my frustrations regarding the time changes, I was told "He didn't have to be lectured "COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! It's not about lecturing it's about learning time management, remember you are running a business and the people you work with have schedules too. Communication was always via text and so I would have to pick the phone up to call once texting kept going back and forth. The one star is for his pricing as they seem to be in line with others. I am all for supporting local shops, but this one will never grow and prosper if they continue to operate unprofessionally.

We invested significantly in custom cabinetry for our home and expected a consistent, high-quality finish. Unfortunately, the completed cabinets have noticeable and inconsistent discoloration throughout the home, resulting in cabinetry that does not have the uniform appearance we selected and expected. We raised our concerns and provided the cabinet maker an opportunity to address the discoloration, but the issue was not corrected. For a substantial custom cabinetry investment, we expected both better quality control and a willingness to stand behind the finished product. The inconsistent coloring has negatively affected the appearance of cabinetry throughout our home and, in our view, diminished the value of what we purchased. We are extremely disappointed that we were left with this result after investing in custom cabinetry.

I met Marla at that time and she was easy to talk to, knew exactly what my thought process was and understood how to address all my questions and concerns. I will definitely say that seeing all the showroom models really helped me better understand what I wanted vs what I needed vs what makes the most sense for my window situation. Even after a very informative and eye-opening experience in the showroom, I had trouble committing because, well, I always have trouble! But going there really helped me decide. Ultimately, I scheduled an appointment for an in-home consultation, basic measurements and quote. Marla sent Nancy for my visit and she was just a breath of fresh air to work with! From one knowledgeable person to another. It made the final decision really easy when I worked with two people who have been in the business a long time and really understood what they were talking about. Nancy gave me a lot of good guidance on top of what Marla had already shared with me in the showroom. Nancy was exceptional at the gentle nudging that really helped solidify my decisions with regards to what styles of coverings to use on each window (taking into consideration what room of the house it was, which direction it was facing and what would be seen from outside). It eased my nerves to work with someone who had the answers and explanations I needed. She helped me narrow down styles, colors, trim styles, retractable mechanism options, material and everything else! It was such a weight to finally decide! My official measurements and installation appointments were completed by Jacob and his helper Mike. Really nice guys. They were so quick and efficient with their time. Although they were in and out in no time, it didn't at all feel rushed. The product installation knowledge was clear in their efficiency and ease of service. They were also very respectful of my home and took necessary measure to ensure not trekking in outside dirt or leaving any trash behind. They also made sure to provide me with all the necessary reminders for new installations and warranty paperwork. Ultimately, I decided on all Hunter Douglas products for the exceptional quality built and materials as well as warranty offered. The products I chose were: -Hunter Douglas Palm Beach Vinyl Shutters (easy to maintain and clean, will not yellow for decades- LIFETIME WARRANTY!) on all front facing windows- for aesthetics and curb appeal. -Hunter Douglas Duette Honeycomb shades for all other windows facing the back and sides of house. Depending on room and accessibility to shade, some have the Literise (mania lift) and some have the Ultraglide (wand with hidden cord). Honeycombs obstruct my view the least and the cord mechanism has a lifetime warranty so I don't have to stress about the 5 year limited warranty on a motorized shade. I have all the extended details if anyone is really interested. But I've already divulged too much here. Cost was another positive thing. I won't share specifics as that will depend on what specific options you choose, but I don't think you can ever go wrong with the quality of Hunter Douglas products and warranty. All I know is, I got a price quote and then after the final measurement, it came back cheaper because Nancy found an active rebate for me! Woohoo! The process from start to finish was a mere 4-5 weeks at the time of my purchases. The final result was custom built window coverings that were made to fit all of my windows precisely. Definitely not something I could ever accomplish on my own. I paid for the experience of working with a completely professional and knowledgeable team as well as top tier quality products. I can't rave enough about Elite Shutters. I can't wait to send more clients their way. Thanks to the entire Elite team for a phenomenal experience!

They marked what things I had to remove and what could stay. They came back with a large crew of stagers who worked expeditiously and with flair, turning my house into a museum of art and delicate touches that enhanced my house's features and pulled my design aesthetic together. I was soooo impressed by how they considered even the smallest of details, like the texture of fabrics (not just colors), and they didn't cut any corners. For example, they changed a bed skirt of a very heavy Cal King mattress from my beige thick cotton one to a white thinner cotton blend one. For some, that may not seem like it'd be worth the effort, but it really made the bed look fancier because it tied better with the bedding and pillows. With the magic of Dora and Jocelyn and their crew, my house sold in one weekend... and in a cold housing market when most houses in my city are taking 2 months to sell.
