I had my first cupping therapy and massage with Jannet on Friday and it was amazing. First, she is such a kind, thoughtful person who genuinely cares about making you feel better and she has passion for her craft. Her room was comfortably warm and inviting, and the massage table was generous and cozy with soft, warm covers and a well padded face/headrest. I enjoyed the music as she worked her magic on my body. I wasn't sure what to expect with cupping, but after one therapy session I know I will want and need more. I can literally feel the changes occuring in the areas that have been long overdue for treatment. I carry a lot of stress and anxiety in my neck and shoulders. Jannet explained what was happening to the tissue and muscle as the cups were placed on my back and moved throughout the massage to treat different areas. There was no pain, just absolute relief. As I enter my 50's and face new challenges (aging, hormones, job stress, grief, and navigating an ever changing society) I find that what once worked to keep me happy, healthy and feeling my best has changed as well. Normally when I am paying for a service & I'm told " you have to try this; you'll love it", means they want more money. I came here for my first time and I loved it ! Place felt cozy and warm and Janet was super nice. So, where to start. First of all Janette is amazing. She is a great person and really listens to your concerns and helps address them. I went to her because I wanted to try out cupping, and I go back because I feel as tho she knows my body.
