I ventured on my own to search for the whiskey but did not see it. An employee went to assist me and had no clue what I was talking about. I was bummed because the manager at the bar sounded so matter of fact when telling me I could find a bottle here. After going back and forth with two different employees, I left feeling sad. Not their fault but the whole process wasted 30 minutes. They helped as much as they could and if they didn't have it, let alone have never heard of it, it's not on them. When I did browse around, they were really stocked up and the traffic was moving quickly in the store.

I've never had anyone else take my ID, stare back and forth between it and me for almost 10 seconds and then have to either smile since that's what I'm doing in the picture on my card or answer a question about myself that only I would know on it (my address, birthday, etc.) in public with other customers in line behind me who can hear very personal information about myself being given out just so I can get an overpriced 12-pack of malt liquor. To say it's a humiliating experience is a HUGE understatement. I don't understand why I've been treated this way the last few times I've gone in because I'm always quiet, I keep to myself, I go in knowing what I want so I'm only spending a very brief amount of time in the store, I have my ID and debit card ready when I walk up to the counter to check out, I'm polite and I never cause problems of any kind PERIOD, and yet I'm treated as if I can't be trusted the very moment I come through the front door. Guess I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Beer Express has an account on most social media networks where they post their new arrivals and beers that are back in stock. Several of the workers seemed to pick up on my tastes over the years and have never pointed me in the wrong direction. The workers are knowledgeable and personable and I always enjoy my trips here. When you enter the store, domestics are to the right and craft beers are to the left. There is a big section in the back with wine coolers and seltzers and a huge walk-in cooler.
