    Rum Chata coffee creamers
    Celeta S.

This is the best liquor store in Pittsburgh. They have everything in stock on a regular basis. The store is clean, well staffed with friendly people and they always have sales. I love their hours and their location. Plentiful parking is available. Saturday from 2-4pm they offer wine tasting so if you're looking for something new stop by their wine tasting for ideas and samples. They've got an extensive wine selection. They recently added a lottery machine. Its new and digital so I'm sure ita better than the one I'm used to in the local corner store. I found a new product I'm excited to try. I love spiked coffee on the weekends. They had Rum Chata flavored coffee creamers. I bought a box of 15 for $12.99 which is a great deal. I posted them on Instagram and everyone was asking where I got them. I'm sure they'll sell out so I'll make sure I keep a supply on hand.

Usually one checkout line with three or four employees doing nothing. If you are in a hurry, look elsewhere.

I was on my way to a picnic when I stopped by Beer Minimum to grab a case of Oskar Blues' Mama's Little Yella Pils. Later, while throwing some of the cans in a cooler, I noticed some dried mold on the bottom of the cardboard carry - not a good sign. At the picnic, I noticed that the beer was not quite what I remembered it to be (understatement). The next day, I found the canning date to be April 14, 2009 - almost a year and a half old. I returned to Beer Minimum with the remaining two six packs today. First they tried to tell me the beer wasn't necessarily bad. Then they tried to give me two replacement six packs of the same, equally old, beer. After a few calls to the owner and some awkward conversation, the lady directed me to Vecenie's Distributor from whom Beer Minimum got the Pils. I reminded her that I got the beer from Beer Minimum. She told me that I could have purchased that beer anywhere. I told her that her computerized records will indicate that I purchased it there. One obstacle to my return was that I did not have a receipt. Unfortunately, I don't recall ever even getting a receipt. Anyway, I left the two fetid six packs with the lady at Beer Minimum. It must be noted that this is the second time that I have purchased old beer from Beer Minimum. The first time happened about seven years ago when I moved to this area. I successfully returned, but it was still a pain in the.... I had boycotted them for several years as a result. I slowly started going there again because they are the closest distributor to my home. I always checked the dates and kept the receipts. This time, they caught me off guard. The moral of the story: I cannot, with a clear conscience, recommend this place. If you must go there, be sure to check the date of the beer you want to buy and save the receipt. Ask for help only if you want to feel uncomfortable. Buying beer should not be an adversarial relationship.

Plenty of coolers with singles, six packs, 12 packs and cases. They also have a nice selection of spiked slushies behind the counter. Nice, helpful and friendly staff with plenty of parking available. This distributor is close to home which makes for quick, easy and convenient shopping. Good beer stop, will return soon! Cheers!

My husband called first to ask if they had his favorite beer (Fat Tire). They told him they did. Since I was unfamiliar with the store, I asked a clerk where it would be. They told me they didn't think they carried it. So I had to wander around until I did find it. There didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to what beers and drinks were where. In fact, the only positive I found was that the store has a large footprint so there is plenty of room to walk around and you don't feel overcrowded. The staff didn't seem to want to be there. They seemed quite annoyed that they had to do their job. Also, they were not in the least bit helpful. The seltzer package I picked up must have been open on one side, so cans spilled out when I went to pick it up. One of the staff members giggled and said "I guess you dropped something" instead of offering to help. When I went to check out, the person in front of me couldn't remember their PIN number. Instead of asking them to step aside and ring me out while the person figured things out, I waited about five minutes while the person was guessing pins and calling his wife. Aside from the poor customer service of not acknowledging/apologizing for the wait, it was troublesome that they let a customer guess a pin that many times. It certainly didn't give me much confidence that credit cards would be secure there. Overall, I left the store with what I came in for, but will likely go elsewhere for future beer purchases.
