My previous occupation required we moved a lot and as a result this was the 15 home we have sold. I spent 4 months researching the market, trends, home values, lenders, Realtors and their firms. I also look at the different price ranges and geographical areas where the realtor sold most of their homes. If the realtor sells 90% of his homes in an area where the homes sell for $250K and your home is $1million and in a pricy area that realtor is not for you. In the Reno area there were several hundred realtors to choose from. There were also many big name companies with their franchises all over the area.
