It has not only a rodent problem in the in-between space of my ceiling and my upstairs neighbor but also a constant heat issue in my apt. According to the super for 690 rogers ave, the heat only will be turned on 4 times per day for 30 minutes each time. And guess what, the internal room temp is 61f when I came back from a business trip when the legally required temp should be 68f. The heat is nonexistent. The outside temp was 37F. The management does not have a phone number that will land you to talk to anyone. The number will either send you to a long wait line that will never be picked up or to the website which provides you the form to send requests through email. Yet, sending emails is useless since they never reply. Only the super has the number to the personal number for the manager and she is not willing to give the number to me which I understand. I filed several 311 complaints about the heat problem but the landlord never took action.

They invent fees out of thin air and use legal intimidation as a tool to squeeze money out of people who've done nothing wrong. I couldn't get a hold of them on the phone and waited days to even a week just to get a response through email. I was misled by Laura early on, having me believe I could secure an apartment and telling me "If I were you I'd wait for the 3 bedroom", so that's what I did. I did everything I had to do to ensure my family would have a safe space to call home after being displaced from a house fire. As a professional "director of operations" I wanted to trust her statements. It was weeks of back and forth, her telling me one thing only to go back on it the following emails. I paid for a Guarantor Service when all else failed, I made sure they accepted it (their company was listed on the site) and I paid a large fee. I got as far as Laura telling me I can sign a lease, gave me a move-in date and told her team to get the keys ready...all lies. The day before the lease signing Laura told me the Guarantor Service (that they accepted) was denied and they had the nerve to tell my fiancé and I they suspected we were lying about our house fire. Why would I go through all that trouble if I was lying the whole time? Nobody would go through that, unless they were in a desperate situation like I am. They also discriminated against my ESA dog because of his size, that is ILLEGAL. Afterwards I was told by a friend who previously lived in the apartment that there were larger dogs in the building. For a family owned company, Trion has no empathy for a family in need. In the end, I knew they just wanted to get more money out of that apartment. Thanks for wasting our time, we're still homeless. Do better.

Lived in building for 37 years and Amber and this new management company they merged with is incompetent as well. No one wants to do their job. I have complained about drugs being sold in building many times. The tenant is still there. She and others in her apartment make a mess in the hall outside her door, which is also is outside my door. Food crumbs constantly on carpet. Tenants should be investigated before they are able to lease. The laundry room is disgusting. The machines are constantly out of order and not clean or sanitize. This company we lease these machines from, should be terminated. Never had the uncleanness in the laundry room or issues with the machines until this company took over. The worst!

But these guys are different. John was straight with me from the jump, explained everything they do, didn't oversell it. They handled some violation issues I had pending and I didn't have to stress about it. Communications with my tenants have been way more professional than when I was doing it myself lol. I used to just text my tenants which I know is not the right way to do it. Only thing I'd say is sometimes I wish they responded a little faster but honestly when they do get back to me everything is thorough and correct so I think its just they are busy and doing things right rather then rushing. Not really a complaint just something I noticed. Overall very happy.
