Wow. It has taken me 2 weeks to try to think of how to review this service. If there was a negative star rating, I would have chosen it. Here it goes: 1) The car is neither luxurious nor comfortable. The body is rusted. The interior is dirty. The console in front of the seat is broken and stuffed with a dirty pillow. The handles on all of the doors on the inside are broken. The doors can't be opened from the inside (which is super-creepy with a driver like Orlando). The car beeps for 3 minutes every 20 minutes or so, but Orlando assures you that there is no problem. I am not sure that the seatbelts in the back work (it's ok with Orlando because it's "legal"). The car shudders when it goes over 50 MPH. The 4th, 5th, and 6th people of your party have to climb over a seat into a raised seat with barely enough room for three (we are small people--all less than 160 lbs). 2) Orlando is offensive. Within 5 minutes of starting our trip, Orlando had succeeded in offending everyone in our party--Canadians, Drivers of Subarus, Democrats, Physicians. Orlando never stops talking, and it is not about the area and local attractions or what to look for. He lectured the car about how doctors are criminals who prescribe medications that people don't need--such as insulin for diabetes. "All you need to do is take large doses of cinnamon." You can cure cancer by,"mixing Flax oil in cottage cheese. Its a well known fact. It's on the google." 3) You will feel like Orlando's prisoner. We were a group that likes conversation. We usually have to keep two members of our party from chatting too much. Orlando talked non-stop the entire trip. We were taking turns sitting in the front seat next to him to share the burden. We ended our trip one hour (and one winery) early just to be able to get out of his car. Some of the topics that Orlando pontificated on: his past employment for the government--"I can't tell you what I did. They asked me to fake my death, but I wouldn't do it; so I had to quit." He also told us about the buried UFOs as big as a football field in the desert. He also commented on how there are, "so many democrats that you could bury them." I am not sure what that was in reference to. 4) Despite the number of times that Orlando will tell you about his 28 years of experience, he is not all that knowledgeable. I had been planning this trip to the Finger Lakes for many months as a birthday celebration for my wife. I had carefully selected wineries that I wanted to visit. Right after getting into the car, he argued with me about my choices and asked me if, "you know anything about this area?" and then told me that it would be impossible to include Ravines in our itinerary as the Winery is in Geneva. I told him that there was a tasting room on Keuka lake, and he said, "I don't know anything about that." I had to tell him that I was confident in my itinerary and essentially argue with him to accept it. I don't think that visiting three wineries and having lunch between 1030 AM and 6 PM is too much to ask. In the end we were dropped off at 5 PM. In summary if you are looking for a knowledgeable, friendly driver in a safe comfortable vehicle for a relaxing day touring the amazing Finger Lakes wineries, DO NOT BOOK WITH Orlando. However, if you are seeking a nightmare version of Carpool Karaoke, but instead of James Corden driving you around in a nice car with pleasant conversation, you want an ignorant, rude, offensive, conspiracy theorist driver with verbal diarrhea and a dirty unsafe and uncomfortable ride, then Orlando and Finger Lakes Transport and Tours is for you. read more

Very disappointed in the professionalism of Orlando Aramini. In the end he did refund my money but still less than pleased with the outcome. I spoke to him over the phone discussing Friday 6/19 and the need for a service for my parents 40th anniversary. He indicated that he was on road and was fairly sure it was open and to go ahead an book. Also stating that once booked the best communication is via email to coordinate details as I would not be his fare. Book and when following up with an email where he was to pick up my parents and their phone numbers in case communication the day was needed to make pickup. I mistakenly put 6/20 which caused confusion on his part. Rather than respond to me he chose to contact my parents directly having stated both over the phone and in the email it was a gift. He chose to call rather than reply.....Very confused my Mom asked him to call me to work things out. Instead he stated Friday was booked and offered other days while talking about price paid and other weekend days would offer savings. I reached out to him that evening to discuss and question why he had not contacted me. The call immediately became offensive and shifted blame to be my fault. At no point was he apologetic, and during the conversation was in my opinion rude. In words I believe this guy to shifty, unintelligent and no sense of remorse. I simply chose to take a refund rather than subject my folks to person who could not do simple things like; keep a calendar, read and interpret emails, listen and talk with empathy. I believe you can have the greatest service or product in the world but with ears, eyes and nose in the clouds you would never let anyone about it. My suggestion is not to avoid this business but be very precise with details and booking. read more

Exceptional Service on a Very Snowy Late Night Drive Orlando is a true professional that I would definitely recommend and rebook every time. We hired Orlando for an airport transfer for my elderly parents from Syracuse to Owego. Unfortunately, their first flight was canceled and the only flight available was for the following day arriving at 10 PM in the middle of a snowstorm. Orlando said no problem he'd take good care of my parents and he certainly did. The flight arrived over an hour late and the drive through the heavy snowfall took over 2 hours. My parents felt not only were they well taken care of but they had made a new friend. Our group of six had a wonderful time touring Seneca Lakes wineries. The group decided on quality over quantity so we let Orlando call the shots and his recommendations were all great! Orlando is very professional and arrived to pick us up on time. He has lived in the area for a long time and is well versed on everything the Finger Lakes has to offer. His Lincoln Navigator is very clean and comfortable and made it very enjoyable bouncing around from winery to winery. Orlando is quite a knowlegable guy with great insight about the area and what wineries are good for the specific types of wine you are into. He is also a very safe driver, never did I feel queasy or uneasy with Orlando behind the wheel. Unfortunately, I did not have the pleasure meeting Orlando Saturday, July 29th. My friends and I, who were from out of town, were waiting for our own wine tour to pick us up at Hotel Ithaca. Orlando came up to us and asked a first name of someone who was not apart of our group. I answered and had said my name is Jenna, our tour reservation is under my name. I don't believe we are for you. Orlando stated "Your loss", and continued walking.. No, that is not the reason for this review. Mind you, I never write these.. This is necessary if you are considering a wine tour with this tour guide. Ten minutes later, Orlando is walking back toward us and stating how poorly ran Hotel Ithaca is and "what a dump" it was. Ignoring his first rude comment, in a reasonable manner, I explained to him that we were not even staying at this hotel, so there wasn't a need to explain to us. When I opened that door to conversation, he began telling us what he does and how his business is ran, and also mentioned how he can give us $200 off our hotel. I simply stated we were just from out of town and this was currently just a one time event (Bachelorette Party) and he began mumbling negative things and told me again, your loss. I stated it was his loss for not having us as a tour group and also stated it was his loss for having horrible, business practice. With that comment, he told me to screw off.. multiple times. Although he maybe great to customers who had paid for their services, he was not so great at attracting new business and treating people kindly. I have worked in sales for many years, and even for those who have common sense, don't try to sell business on solely its product and services, you sell yourself as well! I would NEVER recommend his tour group for that very reason. read more
