I had literally 15 minutes to go pick up a group of men to go to work at a homeless shelter and they were so grateful we made it in time. They kept us informed when they were coming. We are fortunate to have AAA and when we called for service in Wisconsin they dispatched Finish Line Towing. We had a tear in our trailer tire with no spare tire. Needed a car tow to auto shop It's busy season and it was nighttime so it took two hours but the driver was careful loading my car and very quick to load the car and drive off so I would use this service again - hopefully won't need this service again for a long time :) In response to your ? Apparently finish line has a beef with another towing company that my insurance uses. They won't allow that company on their property. So when that company showed up to tow my car to the body shop, they wouldn't release my car. This ended up costing me money and my car repair was significantly delayed. read more

My in-laws needed a tow of their all wheel drive Rendezvous. Through AAA, it took 3 hours to get someone to their location. My wife and I were with them and when the driver finally arrived, my mother-in-law went up to the driver and told the driver that a flat bed was requested. The driver then told her not to yell at him and he could just leave If he were going to be yelled at. She didn't yell at him. I asked if it could be towed and told him it's AWD. He then said, "Am I the one in the tow truck or are you?" He got out and promptly got right back in with the partying words of, "Have a good rest of your day. " When my mother-in-law called to complain, no apologies were given but she was told to have a good day. DO NOT USE FINISH LINE TOWING! If I could rate with 0 or 0.5 stars I would! Someone from Finish Line Towing did reach out after a Facebook review, but after the way we were treated, I had nothing else to say to them. They weren't going to be able to help resolve anything anyway as another tow company had already been dispatched. They had an opportunity to apologize or make it right and didn't. Update after response from owner: Yes, I have left a review where I can because the service we received was terrible and we did absolutely nothing wrong. For the record, there was NEVER any screaming and NEVER did a single swear cross our lips. There were absolutely no negative actions or threats towards your driver. A statement and a question was it. I have been in the service industry for 30 years and would never dream of treating someone the way your driver treated us. Yes, we are all human, but your driver didn't treat us as such. There was nothing you could have done after my first review was posted because we already had contacted AAA and another company was dispatched. Too little, too late. My suggestion for your business is to hire drivers with a little more compassion and understanding for people whose days have been upended by a vehicle breakdown and have been sitting for 3 hours waiting for a tow. My car was towed by this company through AAA. They brought a flat bed as i had told AAA that the caliper was seized. They did not use the flatbed but rather just hooked it and towed it to my service man. The service man asked me why they did not use the flat bed. I was not able to watch them hook/load it so wasn't able to ask them to place it on flat bed. They damaged a brake line which was replaced by the service man since he was replacing the caliper anyways, however it raised the cost by $40. This company is extremely unprofessional on many levels! They towed my vehicle, as a 3rd party vendor for AAA for a simple flat tire and are now refusing to take responsibility for the full damage (body and under body totaling over 3K) which was caused during the tow. I have had my car looked at by numerous mechanic over the past 3 weeks and all have come to the same conclusions ALL ( body and under body) damage was caused by the reckless tow. This company is completely ignoring my insurance as well as AAA at this point. People make mistakes, so it is not the mistake, it is how this company is dealing with the issue they have caused. Not only was there damage caused to my vehicle the tow truck driver (Dakota) was extremely rude to my 87yr old father during our experience. Several witness can testify to his rude and disrespectful behavior toward us. I have been trying to resolve this issue since July 4th with patience and understanding. Finally after several follow ups and weeks passing I spoke to Tim today only to be disrespected and yelled at as if the damaged his company caused was my fault! It is extremely sad to know a company can treat their customers with such disregard and disrespect, this is the definition of bad business to the fullest! I DO NOT recommend this company anyone and suggest when call calling AAA you specially request to NOT have this company tow your car! Finshline towing was a 3rs party through our insurance to pick our vehicle up to be taking to a mechanic for repair. On the way the drive slammed on the breaks causing our vehicle to slam into the rear end of the tow truck breaking the back window and crushing in our tailgate. When discussing how to go about fixing this they claimed they were just gonna take care of it no need to involve their insurance company we asked them not to do anything as we are goin to file a claim with our own insurance to make sure it was done correctly but when trying to retrieve our vehicle for further repair the refused to release our vehicle our insurance company along with the other towing company confirmed they were there and were told they had no information on said vehicle and while taking to the manager Tim stated they we're not releasing the vehicle because they were waiting for a storage fee for a vehicle they damaged further more the was water damage done to the inside as they didn't seal our tailgate properly sincerely Fuck you John F. My car was picked up by Finish Line Towing to be taken to a mechanic. On the way, the tow truck driver slammed on his breaks, causing my car to smash into the back of the tow truck, breaking out the back window and causing damage. Finish Line Towing decided that they were going to fix the damage without getting insurance involved. I decided to file a claim to assure that everything was done according to the book. When state farm had another tow come to pick up my car, Finish Line Towing refused to release my car, even though myself, the owner of the vehicle, told them to release it. Finish Line Towing held my car hostage, as leverage, to get state farm to pay them for a "storage fee" when they were the ones to cause the damage in the first place. It has taken over 2 weeks of arguing with Finish Line Towing to finally get my car released. These people are scam artists and only care about money!!!
