Overall: A // 5 stars My visit to this lounge was one of the few times I desperately longed for a shower, and I was so thrilled to find complete luxury in their personal showers, being quite spacious and luxorious, especially compared to the average hotel. Everything about this lounge is a treat, from the expansive food options that cover hot continental breakfast to pastries and dessert cookies, to an abundance of salads, freshly cut fruit, cheeses, and an impressive bar. The lounge is incredibly large with many rooms worth of space, and that's not including the first class side! If flying OW business, this one is not to be missed! This is my absolutely FAVORITE lounge of all the places I been to. It just makes me feel at ease and relax once inside. The vibe here is beyond word could express...foods are great, but not that Oh La La, but top notch. Menu changes monthly and drinks (cocktails that is) is not top notch but too tier from their country and all drinks are created to your liking or set menu. There are 2 type of foods, the self serve buffet and the menu table serving...both are equally great with fantastic services at the dinning area. The bar area is just breathtaking, it's like the centerpiece of the whole place. The bar shelf's is so beautifully stack with bottoms that screaming softly "try me". Well I think I only tried 1/2 of it so far...they do have showers,steam rooms, working area, resting area so it just perfect for all occasions. I literally booked flights that have layover at this airport so I can just enjoy this part of booked via FinAir for it. For me, it just simple the best. read more

10/10 as far as lounges go! Very spacious with tons of different areas to sit. Very quiet and calming. The food is delicious and fresh - lots of healthy options and dairy free options! You can reserve a shower if you have the time. Free drinks too. I could spend hours in here. read more

Nice enough lounge to relax in and get a bite to eat but I wouldn't describe it as "First Class". Upon entry you will definietly feel the austere Scandanavian touch every where in this lounge: minimalist design, pine wood throughout, and simple design nods throughout. It's cozy but somehow a bit too simple and that is the first impression you'll have of the experience. When it comes to the food, Finnair is in this collection of first class lounges where it appears that having made-to-order options delivered to your table constitutes the high watermark designation; Qantas First in LAX is similar in this approach but with a more extensive menu. However, the quality of the food does not distinguish itself from more self-serve comparisons such as the Amex Centurion Lounges or BA's own "First" offerings. There are items on the menu that are certainly regional (e.g. Reindeer burger, crispy Pollock, etc.) but based on what is available at the self-serve bar I opted not to try these. In short, not bad but don't expect caviar, nigiri and great champagne. Service is nice and I do believe they have showers, a common amenity for a lounge of this class. Children here are apparently allowed to scream at an ungodly volume without limits. And just when it seems to have completely exhausted itself or must depart for his or her flight, another appears and takes its place, like the changing of the guards. read more

What makes a great airport lounge can perhaps have multiple answers. If you can imagine it includes well behaved children, striking design, a relaxed atmosphere, great quality food and beverage options, a variety of work seats and desks, relaxing chairs, run- and taxiways views and subdued voices from those in conversation because ppl respect each other's quiet enjoyment, than this may be the lounge for you. At least I had a great time here. The staff is almost unnoticeable, that's how efficient they are at keeping it clean and the food "court" well stocked. Not a huge lounge by any stretch yet very welcoming. read more

This lounge is up there with one of the must visit airline lounges in Europe. The other noteable lounges is the Iberian Lounge in Madrid (Spanish Wine!), and for those brits who are still not over the fact that their country brexited from Europe I guess the Cathay Pacific lounge in London Heathrow is good too. The highlight for the lounge would be the Finnish style sauna (perfect in winter). It's a nice lounge and if you know how picky I am about my lounges you'd understand how big that is. My oneworld emerald status got me on the platinum side. I deducted a star because the meal options could be much better at this level of things. Nothing I ate was that remarkable. Other than that, the staff were attentive, professional and helpful. Other notable things was that I was able to get a couch to myself in one of the quieter rooms and the bar had my favorite scotch - mcallan - available. I used this lounge twice and was quite satisfied with the offerings. The lounge is spacious and there are many seats so don't worry about not getting a place. The interior gives you the typical Scandinavia feeling and it makes me feel at home! Somehow reminds me of IKEA furniture shop at home. Choices of food and drinks were plentiful and were decent. Great place to relax before your flight. However this is not a paid lounge so you can only access it either you have high status with either Finnair or any OneWorld partners or flying on premium class with Finnair. For other airlines, you probably have to use the other lounge. Free Wifi is and AC plugs to charge your phone are available. Other than that, nothing else to talk about, it's like any other airline lounges elsewhere. What strikes me is the space and interior. Best is to use the lounge when there it's non-peak hours as there is more stock of food. Overall, it's a pleasant lounge. Not the best but decent enough to get you ready for your flight. read more

Was not allowed it at 11pm with an overnight connection because it was not the same calendar day. Nothing is written about this on their website, only what level of elite you need to be to gain access. "Sorry" was all I got. No dinner for me and yet they'll be throwing away their soup in an hour anyways. Silly policy and they definitely are losing my future business as an airline because of making up rules on the spot. I did my homework and knew 100% I'd have lounge access, but didn't count on them coming up with rules that don't exist anywhere other than a piece of paper behind the desk. read more

The Finnair lounge at the non-Schengen side of Terminal 2 is very spacious and has a clean Nordic design and feel to it. That is however the best part of the lounge. There is of course free wifi but that is of course true for the entire airport so no difference there. I am usually not on the non-Schengen side so had only before been to the Finnair lounge at the Schengen side and that is a pretty sad little lounge. I was now expecting something better but I was rather disappointed. I arrived around 30 min before boarding for an early evening flight and at that time there was not really much food in the lounge. There was a soup (but the bowl was almost empty), the salad bar only contained a few sorry salad leaves and some olives and other than that there were apples and oranges (bread was out, there were no other snacks) but no other food. I asked about it and they said there would be something to eat in an hour or so (which was not really helping me at the time). Selection of magazines and newspapers was good for Finnish speaking people but did not find a single newspaper in English. So I did get to sit down for a a while, had a cup of not very good coffee and then went on to the flight. Next time I will try out the @home lounge instead as I have heard better things about that one. read more

Totally worth the 42€! I had a transfer for 5hours but it was nothing when spending that time here. All you can eat (not so much food tho) and all you can drink! Staff was reeeeally nice and helpful. I didn't bring my iPhone6 charger, but instead of me buying a new for 26€ they had one to spare. They had sauna and shower aswell but I didn't feel like it. Definitely recommend it if you have long transfer time and some money to spare. read more

A decent lounge in Helsinki airport for Oneworld members, a fair amount of seating in a well lit room with plenty of plug outlets. The food choice was lacking a bit but the bar was decent with premium alcohols and champagne available being served to you from servers behind the bar. read more
