She said this lounge is for Star alliance gold. I explained that United Airlines gold is the same as Star alliance gold. After about 4 minutes with a line waving, she let me through. There's no excuse for this level of incompetence at a major international airport lounge.

I also visited the airport via train as I was in the city and needed to pick up our rental car on a different day than I flew into Finland. It was incredibly easy to navigate the train and then get upstairs to the station that connects to the rental car area, shops and security lines for the airport. There are lots of neat shops that sell Finnish products - like reindeer pelts! Food is fairly affordable (especially compared to the airports in the USA.) I liked that they had a little exhibit explaining Finnish homes in the non-Schengen terminal.
