Before the Sayville office opened I would go to the Wading River Office, where I have gone for years. The level of care is EXCELLENT!!! I have two children, one that is on the spectrum and the other that is 4 years old. Both of them were terrified to go to the dentist until they went to Suffolk Pediatric Dentistry. What I love most about going here is how in-tune Dr. C with his patients. He listens and answers all of their questions no matter if they are only 4 years old or 12 years old. The level of care, patience and time they have spent to make sure my children are comfortable is incredible. My daughter who is on the spectrum had so much anxiety and was so nervous, however Dr. C was able to make a connection with her and build her trust. Unlike other Dentistry's that wanted to sedate her because too much time was needed. Dr. C did the opposite and made sure she was comfortable before the procedure. He spoke to my daughter the entire time, comforting her and making her less anxious. The procedure went by so fast my daughter didn't realize it was over. The place was extremely clean. Check in was on your phone in the parking lot, they contacted you through text message to let you know when it was time for you to come in. They have everyone wear a mask going in to the building and had everyone use the hand sanitizer as they walk in. if people wanted to wait in the waiting room they had it all marked off to where you could sit and be at a safe distance from someone else. He came recommended & the receptionist was very sweet and attentive- so I had hoped for thoughtful, corrective treatment. From the beginning, though, I didn't feel truly heard. My concerns were dismissed during the initial consultation, and the treatment plan had to be redone after I pushed back. I also specifically told the doctor (with photos) that one of his technicians had previously damaged the finish on one of my veneers while placing attachments. Despite that, he still had another technician (unsupervised) remove and replace my attachments again -- even after I expressed how nervous I was about it. The technician was aggressive, rushed, and careless -- using excessive pressure in areas that didn't need treatment at all. I left that appointment with bleeding gums, new gaps between my teeth (particularly the lower front 8), visible enamel thinning, sensitivity and translucency that wasn't there before, and noticeable changes to the shape of my teeth (Which cannot grow back.)I was assured that no IPR would be done, yet the spacing now allows me to move floss side-to-side between teeth that used to be tight. My teeth lost most of their roundness and fullness- they are now flattened, smaller and boxier When confronting them, I was met with gaslighting and lack of accountability. What hurts most is knowing I voiced my concerns more than once -- and was still treated as if they didn't matter. No one should have to fight this hard just to receive careful, respectful treatment. So basically I went in to fix a problem and ended up with an even bigger one. If you're considering this office, I encourage you to advocate fiercely for yourself, ask direct questions, and listen to your gut. I regret not protecting myself more firmly after the first red flag. Patients deserve to be heard and to have their treatment performed with care, especially when they come in already vulnerable and trying to fix previous mistakes.

I am a 62 year old adult patient of Dr. Weinberg. I am using present tense "patient" even though I…read moregot my braces off over a year ago. This will be made clear in a moment... I'm one of those adults who had braces as a kid but then did not wear my retainer. My teeth moved over the years causing some of them to be so crowded that proper flossing became an issue. A number of people had recommended Dr. Weinberg so I decided that I would take the plunge and get braces. Dr. Weinberg took x-rays of my mouth, made a mold and then met with me in his office to explain exactly how the process would work and what I could expect as a final result. He went over in detail how my teeth would move due to my bone structure and how long I could expect to wear the braces. In my case it would be two years (and in the end, it was two years almost to the day!). Several times during our discussions over the following months and years, he would reiterate that he wanted me to be happy with the result and would work towards that end until I was happy. It quickly became apparent to me that Dr. Weinberg is a perfectionist, an artist in his field. He would use different techniques in bracing for tough areas`of my mouth and seemed to love the challenge. When I myself thought my teeth were perfectly aligned and it was time to remove the braces, he being the perfectionist that he is, was not satisfied. Hence, I continued to wear them for a few months longer. This was not an issue at all for me because from day one I never experienced much inconvenience or any mouth pain wearing his braces! When I would go to get my braces tightened back in the 70s I always remember being in pain for several days thereafter. This never happened with Dr. Weinberg. The only "pain" I suffered was some irritation from an occasional wire in the back of my mouth due to my teeth moving into position. I would simply walk into the office when this happened and get it snipped off, taking just five minutes. Besides being a fantastic orthodontist, Dr. Weinberg is also extremely kind, gentle, and makes it clear that you are always welcome to come to the practice if you have even the slightest irritation from the braces. He strives to make you feel comfortable and is always happy to see you. It is obvious that he loves what he does. What is further extraordinary to me is that once the braces are off and you have your retainer your relationship has not ended. I had to get a root canal done shortly after receiving my retainer and as a result of this dental work my retainer no longer fit properly. Dr. Weinberg fit me for a new one at no cost to me! Additionally, Dr. Weinberg has you come into the office periodically to recheck your teeth and your retainer, every six weeks at first, then every several months thereafter. I will be going back this week for another check, six months after my last check. Mind you, all of this at NO ADDITIONAL COST! I wonder, how many orthodontists do these type of post checks AND do not charge for it? I cannot finish this review without also mentioning that his office staff is exceptional. I've been going to various doctors offices in the past few years and Dr. Weinberg's office staff are hands down the happiest, most friendly and dedicated I have ever had the pleasure in working with as a patient. It seems fitting that he would have such a staff. For anyone who spends a lot of time in doctors offices as I do, it is truly a rarity to find such personable professionals. They enhance the perfect doctor-patient relationship and I only wish they could be my one stop for all of my medical needs! Do not hesitate if you are an adult to get your braces from Dr. Weinberg! It is not going to be the experience that you remember as a kid, it's actually pleasurable! I love the way my teeth look now especially when I see myself in pictures. I have a great smile! And if you have kids, they will love the funky colored braces that he offers. Braces can be fun!

They're very easy to slip in and out. I lost them once and I called them and they had me in as soon as possible to make me a new set. Now upon further evaluation of my teeth I feel like a few minor adjustments could have been done. My teeth are straight and aesthetically speaking they look good but for when there is to mug spandex between my canines laters and premolars. It's uncomfortable when food gets stuck there. My bottom teeth appear straight but there is some small overlap from canine to canine. I still wear my retainer because this is definitely better than what my mouth use to look like.
