Browns aren't particularly modern - the setting isn't particularly sleek or sophisticated, it is quaint and modest. The attention is on the jewellery and the enormous precious stones that gleam out at you. Gold, silver, rubies, sapphires, emeralds, and diamonds - I've seen them all here. The jewelry was incredibly unique and high quality. The clerks were amazing and really helpful. I'm usually very nervous around salespeople but I was surprised at how comfortable I felt talking to them and asking about some of their jewelry. Peter Arnold is a kooky man with a strange sense of humour who managed to take in exactly what I wanted and turn it into my dream engagement ring. The carat and clarity of my diamond meant the ring I have would have cost three thousand dollars more than I paid had I brought it from a store. Each prototype is then hand sculpted in clay and is characterised by its uneven lines and finger smoothed surface of the design which gives each piece its handmade feel. The prototypes are then cast in resin before being sanded, drilled and finished by hand to give the unique finish for which Dinosaur Designs has become known and loved.
