My reveiw begins with the six words that most of us hate: "Time to Clean up the Garage." I plan to install a new rubber tile floor in my two-car garage this month so I desired to clean out most of the junk and clutter first. While doing my research Fire Dawgs Junk Removal stood out. I was very impressed with their website, the family business feel, and their great customer reviews. I called Matthew at Fire Dawgs on Tuesday, October 12. He was very polite and professional but I will say that he could only give me a range in what the final cost would be. Nevertheless, we scheduled a crew to come out the next day between 11-1 p.m. Matthew said that the crew would look at the amount of my junk and give me a fair price which I could accept or reject. A young man named Peyton texted and called me the next morning around 11:30 a.m. saying that they were the Fire Dawgs team and on the way to my house - right on schedule. I had set up the garage "junk" that I wanted removed the night before. It consisted of boxes and 40-gallon storage containers of miscellaneous things that I just didn't need anymore. I would estimate that my "wall of junk" was approximately 2 feet wide, 10-12 feet long, and piled 6-7 feet high in my garage. I was warmly greeted by Peyton and Donovan after they parked in front of the house. They were nice looking, athletic young men who were dressed in clean uniforms and arrived in a very attractive and clean Fire Dawgs truck. The guys were well trained, professional and very respectful. They made an excellent first impression. After the introductions I got down to a discussion on the cost to remove my junk. I'm a former salesmen and marketing manager so I'm not shy about driving a hard bargain. I was impressed in how well trained Peyton was. He listened to me without interupting and then carefully explained what discounts he could offer me, but at the same time was clearly following his company policies. We aggreed on a price of $220.50 to remove my junk. Peyton and Donovan then began removing the boxes from my garage, being careful not to scratch my 2019 Honda CRV in the driveway. The guys were quite careful as they hauled the junk and boxes away. I liked that. I was presented with a variey of options to pay and selected the credit card option. Peyton had me sign for the work on his iPhone and a receipt was sent to my email address. I was so impressed with Fire Dawgs and the work done by Peyton and Donovan that I asked the guys for the name of the company President (Bennett Grove) and said that I would call Mr. Grove next week to share how impressed I was with Fire Dawgs and the work of Matthew, Peyton, and Donovan. This is a very, very good team. You will feel extremely comfortable having the Fire Dawgs come into your garage or property. They are professional, handle the junk items with care, and their pricing seems quite fair. I give the Fire Dawgs a 5-star review along with my highest recommendation. Fire Dawgs Score Six Consistently ! ! This is my second review of Fire Dawgs and I'm not compensated for doing so. Too many providers seem to be able to "fix" their reputations by purchasing reviews. My first experience with Fire Dawgs was just excellent, so I called again. They did not disappoint. Again, they were fantastic. I really enjoy working with a company that makes my blood pressure go down rather than up. It's so rare. They answered my call promptly on the first attempt, had excellent professional scheduling service, quick availability, and texted prior to the appointment time (and when en route). Upon arrival, Collin E. and associate (so sorry about your name omission) were friendly, courteous, and helpful. Mine was a small pick up (again). Honestly, these folks seem to do things the right way. Apparently, their management structure allows them to actually think about the complexity of the project at hand - and also allows them to interact with the customer, leading to a reasonable solution. They seem to have "price tiers" but they are still intelligent when viewing a project. Refreshingly, they make sense and would like for you to call upon them again (I will). I just had a stack of cardboard left from over-purchasing large art canvases. Yep, that was pretty easy work for them and they were able to adjust pricing just a bit to reflect that. Please don't badger them for lower pricing - my point is that they are far superior to the more "automated" customer experiences that are now so commonplace. Honestly, they are the best movers in Indianapolis. Unfortunately, I experienced a terrible flood from my upstairs neighbor's washing machine that ruined nearly all of my property, and had to contract with Junk Dawgs to remove the damaged property from my apartment as a result. The movers, James and Laura, arrived on time and immediately got to work. Here are some thoughts: - These are the most honest movers I have ever worked with. They filled the truck up to the brim and packed as much property into it as possible. They even double checked with me concerning potentially salvageable and sentimental property and gave me change they found in my couch cushions! Importantly, Junk Dawgs does not throw away anything that can be used in some way. They donate your property to Good Will if possible and recycle what is left. - James and Laura were great people to work with. It was easy to see that they worked incredibly hard. When it became apparent that I had too much stuff to fit in one truck, they moved all of the large items out first so that moving the rest by myself would be manageable. They even asked if there was anything that I particularly did not want to deal with. They made the whole experience a breeze and the process took less than two hours. - At $500 dollars a truck, the price was very reasonable. The trucks are large and the movers pack them to the brim. You also get a coupon that applies to your next service. I would highly recommend Junk Dawgs to anyone looking for a reasonable and painless experience with honest movers. read more

Initially, I used Yelp to find the hauler who had the shortest response time (20 minutes) because we were cleaning out a basement and needed items removed as soon as possible. The person texted me several times; I even including photos of the items to be removed, but each time he texted, he sounded less interested in taking the job. After an entire weekend of texting, he finally said he couldn't get to us, wasting our entire weekend of moving items outside for easy removal. Then we decided to use the team we had used in the past and who was actually reliable. Fire Dawgs showed up when they said they would. Both men were friendly and able to note potential problems with moving heavy or large items as they provided pricing on the items we wanted removed. They even noted one appliance did not contain Freon, which saved us a $20 Freon surcharge. They were also able to remove a large sofa from our basement without damaging or scratching our walls, especially going up the stairs. They thoughtfully prepared doors to be held open before they began. Once they were done, they asked me to check for any additional items. This was a good thing, because we found more items in a storage room. I appreciated the thoroughness. This was the second time we used Fire Dawgs and we will be sure to call on them again in the future when the time comes. Life is just too short to spend texting all weekend. I had never heard of Junk Dawgs until I searched the Internet for old furniture disposal. The two items that caught my eye were that Junk Dawgs is run by firemen and veterans and that the reviews on Angie's List were very positive. The fellow who answered the phone was very courteous and professional, and he promptly arranged the pickup for within two days. Two young men, Brandon Hamilton and Tyler Hanley, called ahead of time to let me know they were on schedule, arrived on time, and carried out the whole operation in about two hours or so. These two fellows carried out two heavy sofa beds, a king-size mattress and box springs, three old aquaria, old armchairs, book cases, and all sorts of other unneeded materials. They were courteous, attentive, and engaged readily in a moment or two of pleasant conversation. I was impressed with their diligence and industry. I still have other materials to be picked up and will most certainly use Junk Dawgs for this future project. They did a superb job. I would recommend them without hesitation or qualification. Never used a junk removal service before and noticed some reviews indicating some large discrepancies between what Fire Dawgs quoted and what the final price ended up being so I sent a description and pictures in advance to receive a "quick quote". When they came in I showed them the furniture and other junk I needed removed and we agreed on the final price, which was within the range of the quote I was given on email, so no surprises there. If you use Fire Dawgs for junk removal, I would recommend taking advantage of their "quick quote" and send pictures, or an email with a description of the items needing removed, before scheduling a pick-up. Having said all that, the two gentlemen contacted me prior to their visit to make sure I was home and showed up well within the delivery window promised. They were extremely polite and made very short work out of everything I needed gone. I paid them with a debit card, received my receipt via email and they were on their way. I can't stress enough about the speed at which these guys worked. Very impressive!! I would highly recommend Fire Dawgs and will use their services in the future! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Fire Dawgs Junk Removal! I was in a real bind with very little time to get an old fence and yard debris hauled away. Between work, graduate school, and other obligations, I could not even meet with them in person--I had to handle everything over the phone, including the quote. From start to finish, their team was phenomenal. The customer service during the quoting process was clear, professional, and reassuring. They made everything easy and stress-free. We are delighted with the punctuality and efficiency of this service! After recent remodeling and landscaping projects, we had a truckload (literally) of debris to remove. Since normal trash removal is not taking extra stuff for some inexplicable reason during the so-called plandemic, we had to call someone. We're happy our close friend recommended FIRE DAWGS. They showed up on time, followed instructions and worked so fast they made it look easy! Obviously it was NOT easy! We had old bricks, cements blocks, two old fences, yard waste, old carpet and a variety of other nasty heavy stuff. Those two strong young men worked quickly and earned every cent. When we considered renting a truck and hiring relatives to help, then driving to the dump and paying those fees, this worked out to be MUCH faster and less hassle. We're so thankful to have a service available to help us with a tremendous amount of "junk" that was left in a home we recently purchased. There was more than we could deal with, and, being new to the area, didn't immediately know who to contact. It happened that one day we were driving behind one of the Junk Dawgs trucks, and we later had our realtor call them. Arrangements were made, they called ahead of time, they arrived on time, and removed a variety of materials (some huge, heavy, and cumbersome) quickly and efficiently. These two young veterans, Kyle B. and Brad H., were pleasant, never complained about the hard work, and laughed at our attempts at humorous comments. Such a treat to deal with a company and their employees who offer moving and removing services, at reasonable rates, follow through in a timely manner, with friendly personalities. This is the second time we have used Fire Dawgs junk removal, and they are so great to work with! I called them last-minute (a few days before our move out-of-state,)and they were able to fit us in, to come and remove the stuff we needed gone! Sam S. And Charles R. were like all of the employees from Fire Dawgs we have come in contact with. Great!! My baby was sleeping, and remained that way throughout all the moving of junk! I'm sure it's not an easy task to move heavy things as quietly as possible, but they did it, and I really appreciate it! Super nice, well-mannered guys, and got the job done super fast! I had used Fire Dawgs to remove some junk a few years back, and they did a great job. I decided to give their carpet-cleaning services a try. Well, I could not be happier! I had two rooms, a hallway, and stairs cleaned. The two cleaners were polite, and they got straight to work. We have a long-haired cat and a dog so the hair and dander permeates the carpet. The Fire Dawgs team pulled all the dust, dirt, and hair from the carpet, leaving it fresh and clean. Oh, just terrific! And the price is good, too. (I tried a cheapo carpet cleaner a couple of times with horrible results -- soaking wet, uncleaned carpets -- a waste of time and money.) The Fire Dawgs also send email and text confirmations, text when they are on their way, and send an email receipt. Very pro and efficient. I will be calling them again! read more

I used this company on two different occasions to clean out a condo and three storage units that were trashed by a hoarder. The FireDawgs had excellent communication - texting , calling and emailing to let me know when they would arrive etc. They were able to accommodate my schedule as I live in another state and worked three successive days to include a Saturday which allowed me to return home more quickly once the job at the condo was completed. All of the employees were professional and went out of their way to help with various issues that came up during the clean out. They did their best to identify a few items that were salvageable from the huge mess. We needed to removal 64 years worth of junk from my MIL house. They were short two workers because of Covid illness so instead of coming at 9:30 which was the original start time, they didn't get there until 3:00. However, they did stay until the job was completed. Anthony was especially helpful throughout the entire time. They had already put in almost a full day of work by the time they reached me. They were there until 8:00 and took 3 1/2 trucks worth of stuff. The final price was significantly higher than the initial quote but to be fair even though we did a video walk through, it was hard to see it all until they got there. There were also additional charges for tires and tvs that I wasn't aware of until they showed up. Although it was higher I am so thankful that the big job is over!! read more

Great experience from start to finish! I had submitted an online request on a Monday to have a couch removed, and I was contacted by a representative on the same day. Online, you must select a removal date request, so I arbitrarily chose the following Monday, and the guy on the phone said, "Hey, how about this Wednesday morning?" Even better! I was given a pick-up window of between 9-1 - the couch was removed by 9:45!! The two guys who showed up that day were friendly and conscientious (they decided not to back into my driveway, which would have been easier because they didn't want to damage a low hanging tree). I paid for the service, and my receipt was sent via email while the gentlemen were still standing in my garage! We most definitely would call Fire Dawgs again! read more
