I cannot recommend them highly enough. We hired My Movers Inc. for an interstate move (about 12 hours away.) After a short phone call, they responded with a rough estimate based on the size of our home the following morning, which was a great response time. They scheduled an in-person walkthrough that week, showed up on time, and had an itemized, specific estimate by the end of it. We were able to schedule the move then and there, and were given guidelines on how to pack our things for the move and what wasn't allowed (e.g. liquids, fragile loose items, etc.) on the truck. Movers showed up right on schedule and cleared our packed belongings and furniture in under 2 hours. Similar story for unloading: they arrived right on time, and got all our stuff off the truck in 2 hours. Even though we didn't have a ton of stuff, I was impressed with how quickly they were able to load and unload. Everyone we interacted with throughout the process was friendly and polite. We ultimately came in slightly under the original estimate, which may not always be the case, but I appreciate when a business estimates high. Pleasant surprises are always better than unpleasant ones. :)

They wrapped a lot of items in plastic. We moved from a 2nd level 2-bed 1-bath apt. to a 1-story home. I would have appreciated better estimates from the company. We were quoted an hourly rate and a 1-hr travel fee. The estimated time was 2 hours and for arrival at 3 PM. The arrival time was 5 PM, and the move lasted until after 10 PM. So the time estimates were not correct. This also increased the travel fee. So 5 hours labor, the travel fee, plus gas mileage expense, and some supplies, for everything including the $100 deposit, it was $1,300 to move. I was a bit shocked but maybe that's normal with today's prices. There were no issues with the move.

Didn't really finish the job and broke a number of furniture. We had to file a police report as our 2 big screen TV's didn't make it to our house. But what really impressed me was how hard the crew worked to make up the time. They brought in additional people, hustled all day, and did everything they could to get us caught up. They left two college girls without movers and without a storage unit and were less than helpful with advice. Other than offering for them to move out a day later, but the girls lease was already up, and they had already turned all their stuff in. You can't just stay an extra day in an apartment for free, and it's Memorial Day weekend and it's not like they could go extend their lease. Didnt even offer to help in trying to find other movers or another storage unit. We are not from the area and this was just a really disappointing experience. we offered to help them load the truck ourselves and begged them to still move them because the lease was up and the girls HAD to move out. They went above and beyond and even stayed longer than they needed to and put together my bed frame which is pretty much on its last legs and is starting to fall apart. But they made it work and I have no doubt I would not have been able to put that thing together myself. The flat rate they charged was beyond reasonable and I had to double check that it was actually a flat rate and not an hourly rate because I couldn't believe how low the price was.
